 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 6/17/22 APPLICANT INVITED TO UPLOAD PLANS.
 10/07/2022 PLANS UPLOADED, INCOMING COMPLETE.
  
 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) SHEET LABELED E30, A MECHANICAL SHEET FOR CONDENSING
 UNIT STAND. THE ELEVATION VIEW SHOWS A ELEVATION OF 2
 FEET FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE A/C CONDENSING UNIT. THE
 ELEVATION SHOWS A HORIZONTAL FRAMING UNIT W8X10 STEEL
 BEAM. IN THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE SECTION 1510.10 &
 TABLE 1510.10 BOTH STATE A MINIMUM CLEARANCE HEIGHT.
 THIS HEIGHT IS NOT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE CONDENSATE
 UNIT BUT THE LOWEST HORIZONTAL FRAMING MEMBER. THIS IS
 A SPECIFIC FLORIDA REQUIREMENT, IT IS NOT COVERED UNDER
 THE IBC- BASE CODE. FROM THE 2007 FBC-BUILDING
 COMMENTARY IT STATES: BY HAVING THE ROOF MOUNTED
 EQUIPMENT RAISED TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE ROOF COVERING
 UNDER THE EQUIPMENT, THE ROOF MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND
 ROOF COVERING CAN BE MAINTAINED INDEPENDENTLY OF EACH
 OTHER.
 PLEASE NOTE ROOF SLOPES, ROOF TOP INSULATION AND FINISH
 ROOFING PRODUCT NEED TO BE CONSIDERED WHEN TRYING TO
 MAINTAIN A MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF 2 FEET FROM FINISH ROOF
 DECK AND THE BOTTOM FLANGE OF THE HORIZONTAL FRAMING
 MEMBER FOR THE 3 FEET 7 ?? INCH WIDE CENTER LINE /
 CENTER LINE WIDTH STAND.
 WILL REQUIRE NEW CALCULATIONS FOR THE NEW HEIGHT OF THE
 STAND.
  
  
 2) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER / NARRATIVE LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF
 THE REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR
 SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL
 HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
