 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THERE ARE NOTES ON THE COVERSHEET (A-0.0) UNDER THE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL & SHOP DRAWING HEADER STATING THAT THE
 ROOFING, WINDOWS AND DOORS WILL BE UNDER SEPARATE
 PERMITS. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS YOU WILL NEED TO
 PROVIDE THE COST OF EACH OF THESE ITEMS SO THEY CAN BE
 DEDUCTED FROM THE COST OF THE MAIN HOUSE, GARAGE AND
 POOL CABANA. THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR THESE ITEMS WILL
 NEED TO BE SUBMITTED WHEN APPLICATIONS FOR THE SEPARATE
 ROOFING OR THE WINDOW/DOOR PERMITS ARE SUBMITTED. THE
 PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE REQUIRED TO BE REVIEWED AND
 APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD BEFORE
 BEING SUBMITTED FOR PLAN REVIEW. THESE SEPARATE PERMITS
 WILL NOT BE TURN-AROUND SINCE THE PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE
 REQUIRED TO BE REVIEWED BY THE CITY PLAN EXAMINER.
 YOU ALSO HAVE THE OPTION TO DEFER THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 SUBMITTALS AND SUBMIT THEM FOR REVIEW UNDER THE MAIN
 PERMIT AT A LATER DATE. IF YOU USE THIS OPTION THE
 DESIGNER WILL NEED TO LIST THE ITEMS THAT WILL BE
 DEFERRED ON THE PLANS. WHEN THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 THE ITEMS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED AND APPROVED BT THE CITY
 THEN THE ROOFING SUB-PERMITS CAN BE ISSUED. THE WINDOWS
 AND DOORS WILL BE COVERED UNDER THE MASTER PERMIT. FBC
 AMENDMENTS 107.3.4.1 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE
 PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE
 DEFINED AS THOSE PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT
 SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE
 TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A
 SPECIFIED PERIOD. DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL
 HAVE THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 2) THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN A SFHA (SPECIAL FLOOD
 HAZARD AREA). THE FLOOD ZONE IS AE AND THE BFE (BASE
 FLOOD ELEVATION) IS 6'/7' NAVD 88. AS OF OCTOBER 5TH,
 2017 THE CITY HAS ADOPTED NEW FLOOD INSURANCE RATE MAPS
 WHICH USE NAVD 88 AS THE VERTICAL DATUM. THE CITY ALSO
 ADOPTED A 2' FREEBOARD WHICH REQUIRES THE FINISH FLOOR
 AND EQUIPMENT TO BE A MINIMUM OF TWO FEET ABOVE THE
 BFE. THIS MEANS THAT THE DFE (DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION)
 FOR THIS PROJECT IS 9' NAVD 88. THE LOWEST FINISH FLOOR
 ELEVATION FOR THE HABITABLE SPACE AND THE EQUIPMENT IS
 REQUIRED TO BE AT OR ABOVE 9' NAVD 88. THE GARAGE AND
 STORAGE CAN BE BELOW BFE, IF FLOOD VENTS ARE INSTALLED
 AND NO MATERIALS OR EQUIPMENT THAT CAN BE DAMAGED BY
 FLOOD WATERS ARE BELOW BFE. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THESE
 REQUIREMENTS ON THE PLANS. SPECIFY ALL ELEVATIONS IN
 NAVD 88. FBC-R 322
  
 3) THE ELEVATION OF THE GARAGE IS SPECIFIED AS 8.5'
 NAVD WHICH IS BELOW THE REQUIRED 9' DFE. SUBMIT
 CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS THAT SHOW FLOOD VENTS AND THAT
 EVERYTHING BELOW THE DFE IS OF MATERIALS THAT ARE NOT
 SUSCEPTIBLE TO DAMAGE FROM FLOOD WATERS. FBC-R322.2.2
  
 4) SUBMIT A PRE-CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE
 BASED ON THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS THAT SHOWS
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE CITY'S FLOOD ORDINANCE. TWO
 ADDITIONAL ELEVATION CERTIFICATES WILL BE REQUIRES. AN
 UNDER CONSTRUCTION EC WILL BE REQUIRED WHEN THE FLOOR
 SLABS ARE IN PLACE AND A FINAL EC WHEN THE CONSTRUCTION
 IS FINISHED. CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH FLOOD ORDINANCE.
  
 5) THE ELEVATION DRAWINGS ON SHEET A-6.1, A-6.2, A-6.3
 AND THE BUILDING SECTIONS ON SHEETS A-7.1, A-7.2 AND
 A-7.3 SPECIFY THAT THE TOP OF THE FIRST FLOOR SLAB IS
 BFE + 1' . IT IS ACTUALLY REQUIRED TO BE BFE + 2' PER
 THE CITY'S FLOOD ORDINANCE. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 6) SUBMIT A SIGNED AND SEALED COPY OF THE SOILS REPORT
 MENTIONED IN THE FOUNDATION NOTES ON SHEET S-4. FBC
 107.2.1
  
 7) AN EGRESS DOOR THAT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 FBC-R311.2 IS REQUIRED. R311.2 EGRESS DOOR. NOT LESS
 THAN ONE EGRESS DOOR SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EACH
 DWELLING UNIT. THE EGRESS DOOR SHALL BE SIDE-HINGED,
 AND SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OF NOT LESS THAN 32
 INCHES (813 MM) WHERE MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE
 DOOR AND THE STOP, WITH THE DOOR OPEN 90 DEGREES (1.57
 RAD). THE CLEAR HEIGHT OF THE DOOR OPENING SHALL BE NOT
 LESS THAN 78 INCHES (1981 MM) IN HEIGHT MEASURED FROM
 THE TOP OF THE THRESHOLD TO THE BOTTOM OF THE STOP.
 OTHER DOORS SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THESE
 MINIMUM DIMENSIONS. EGRESS DOORS SHALL BE READILY
 OPENABLE FROM INSIDE THE DWELLING WITHOUT THE USE OF A
 KEY OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR EFFORT.
  
 8) SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND
 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE VENTLESS FIREPLACES.

 9) SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND
 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GAS GRILL AT THE
 SUMMER KITCHEN. FBC 107.2.1
  
 10) SUBMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND
 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ELEVATOR AND SPECIFY
 THE LOCATION OF THE ELEVATOR EQUIPMENT. INDICATE HOW
 THE EQUIPMENT CAN BE ACCESSED FOR SERVICE AND
