 NOTE:
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY SEC. 605 AND SEC. 1001.2.1, SEC.
 604 AND SEC. 901.2, SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 ALL NEW WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE MATERIALS AND
 METHODS REQUIREMENTS IN THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
 1-PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 R101.5 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
 NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE FORM IS PROPERLY SIGNED BY ALL
 REQUIRED PARTIES AND IS COORDINATED WITH PLANS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
  
 2- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO PROVIDE ALL THE WIND DESIGN
 CRITERIA AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 SPECIFY THE ULTIMATE AND NOMINAL WIND LOAD, BUILDING
 EXPOSURE, BUILDING MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. ALSO, SPECIFY THE
 COMPONENTS AND CLADDING DESIGN PRESSURES. (DOORS,
 WINDOWS).
  
 3- EGRESS DOOR. NEW HABITABLE ROOM NEEDS A SIDE HINGED
 DOOR LEADING DIRECTLY TO THE OUTSIDE. THE DOOR NEEDS TO
 PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OPENING OF NOT LESS THAN 32
 INCHES. SEC. R311.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR EXTERIOR SWING DOOR.
 SEE ITEM #2 ABOVE.
 SEC. 61G20.3.001 F.A.C.
  
 5- NEED TO SPECIFY FIRE RATED DOOR SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH SEC. R311.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL FOR DOOR LEADING FROM
 THE GARAGE TO THE HABITABLE ROOM.
  
 6- DESIGNER OF RECORD NEEDS TO DEPICT THE BUILDING
 THERMAL ENVELOPE. NEED TO SPECIFY INSULATION MATERIALS
 AND THEIR R-VALUES AT ROOF, WALLS, ETC. AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R103.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 7- PROVIDE SWING DOOR STRUCTURAL BUCK DETAIL SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R609.7.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 SPECIFY STRUCTURAL BUCK SIZE AND FASTENING.
 NOTE: STRUCTURAL BUCK NEEDS TO PROVIDE FULL SUPPORT TO
 THE DOOR FRAME AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R609.7.2.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
