 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) SCOPE OF WORK INDICATES THIS IS AN EXISTING
 MULTI-FAMILY APARTMENT COMPLEX THAT IS CURRENTLY
 UNOCCUPIED. THE BUILDINGS (102-106 28 UNITS) ARE LISTED
 AS V-B CONSTRUCTION, EXISTING ALARM AND FIRE SPRINKLER.
 OCCUPANCY TYPE IS LISTED AS R-2 OCCUPANCY, BUT THE USE
 HAS NOT BEEN DECLARED, BOARDING HOUSE, APARTMENTS,
 NON-TRANSIENT, ETC.
  
 2020 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1.
 DRAWINGS & SPECIFICATIONS SHALL CONTAIN INFORMATION, IN
 THE FORM OF NOTES OR OTHERWISE, AS TO THE QUALITY OF
 MATERIALS, WHERE QUALITY IS ESSENTIAL TO CONFORMITY
 WITH THE TECHNICAL CODES. SUCH INFORMATION SHALL BE
 SPECIFIC TO THE TECHNICAL CODES "CODE SECTIONS SHALL
 NOT BE CITED AS A WHOLE OR IN PART, NOR THE TERM
 "LEGAL" OR ITS EQUIVALENT BE USED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR
 SPECIFIC INFORMATION". CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE
 SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND
 EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT
 WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE AND
 RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND REGULATIONS, AS
 DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 1B) A BUSINESS TAX FOR THIS PROPERTY HAS BEEN APPLIED
 FOR AND ISSUED AND WILL EXPIRE ON 09/30/2023 FOR
 OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE OUTPATIENT
 CARE CENTER. THE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION FOR ALCOHOL
 AND DRUG CENTERS, A R-4 WOULD BE MORE THAN 5 BUT NOT
 MORE THAN 16 PERSONS, WHO RESIDE ON A 24-HOUR BASES IN
 A SUPERVISED RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT AND RECEIVE
 CUSTODIAL CARE. UNDER THIS PERMIT THERE ARE 28 UNITS.
 IF THE BUSINESS LICENSE ISSUED FOR OUTPATIENT MENTAL
 HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE OUTPATIENT CARE CENTER, WHY
 ARE THERE 28 INDIVIDUAL LIVING QUARTERS? HOW MANY
 OCCUPANTS ARE GOING TO STAY IN EACH UNIT?
  
 1C) UNTIL ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS SUBMITTED IT WILL
 NOT BE ABLE TO CLASSIFY THE OCCUPANCY TYPE EITHER A I-1
 OCCUPANCY 308.3.1 ALCOHOL AND DRUG CENTER CONDITION-1
 PERSONS RECEIVING CUSTODIAL CARE WHO WITHOUT ANY
 ASSISTANCE ARE CAPABLE WITHOUT ANY ASSISTANCE, ARE
 CAPABLE OF RESPONDING TO AN EMERGENCY SITUATION TO
 COMPLETE BUILDING EVACUATION OR:
  
 1D) I-1 CONDITION-2. 308.3.2 PERSONS RECEIVING
 CUSTODIAL CARE WHO REQUIRE LIMITED VERBAL OR PHYSICAL
 ASSISTANCE WHILE RESPONDING TO AN EMERGENCY TO COMPLETE
 BUILDING EVACUATION. I-1 OCCUPANCIES WILL NEED TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 420 OF THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING
 CODE.
  
 1E) 2020 FBC-BUILDING SECTION 308.4. 308.4 GROUP I-2
 OCCUPANCY USED FOR MEDICAL CARE ON A 24-HOUR BASIS FOR
 MORE THAN 5 PERSONS WHO ARE INCAPABLE OF
 SELF-PRESERVATION. THIS WOULD INCLUDE DETOXIFICATION
 FACILITIES. SEE CONDITION 1 AND CONDITION 2. I-2
 OCCUPANCIES WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH SECTION 407 OF THE
 2020 FBC-BUILDING.
  
 1F) ON 12/25/2021 A BOARD AND SECURE PERMIT WAS ISSUED,
 20110117 WILL THESE WINDOWS STILL BE BOARDED UP WHAT
 OTHER MEANS OF EGRESS WILL THE OCCUPANTS HAVE FROM THE
 UNIT WITH EXCEPTION OF THE FRONT DOOR?
 2020 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 107.2.1.
 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO
 INDICATE THE LOCATION, NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK
 PROPOSED AND SHOW IN DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE

 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS 215.4 FOR TRANSIENT
 LODGING.
