 NOTE:
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY SEC. 605 AND SEC. 1001.2.1, SEC.
 604 AND SEC. 901.2, SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 ALL NEW WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE MATERIALS AND
 METHODS REQUIREMENTS IN THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
 NOTE:

 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS,
 COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
  
  
 1- ENTRY DOOR DOESN'T COMPLY WITH THE MIN. CLEAR WIDTH
 OF 32" AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R311.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 2- BEDROOM EGRESS WINDOW DOESN'T COMPLY WITH THE
 MINIMUM CLEAR HEIGHT OPENING REQUIREMENT OF SEC.
 R310.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 3- THIS IS A CHANGE OF USE FROM GARAGE TO LIVABLE
 SPACE. TYPICALLY, GARAGES ARE BUILT WITHOUT A FLOOR
 VAPOR BARRIER. ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO PROVIDE
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONCRETE SLAB VAPOR BARRIER AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R506.2.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- EXTERIOR WALL: NEED TO SPECIFY TWO LAYERS OF WATER
 RESISTIVE BARRIERS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. SEC. R703.7.3
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- ARCHITECT TO REVISE DESCRIPTION OF WORK ON SHEET
 G001. THIS IS A CHANGE OF USE FROM GARAGE TO LIVABLE
 SPACE (SEC. 605 FBC FBC-EXISTING BUILDING). AND THIS IS
 ALTERATION LEVEL 3 (SEC. 604 FBC FBC-EXISTING BUILDING)
 NOT ALTERATION LEVEL 2.
  
 6- REVISE WINDOWS AND DOORS STRUCTURAL BUCK DETAILS.
 REVISE STRUCTURAL BUCK SIZE. STRUCTURAL BUCK NEEDS TO
 PROVIDE FULL SUPPORT TO THE DOOR FRAME AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R609.7.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ALSO, BEVELED BUCKS
 ARE NOT LONGER ALLOWED. REVISE ALL DETAILS AS REQUIRED.
  
 7- NO SURE IF ROOF SHINGLES ARE GOING TO BE REPLACED OR
 NOT. EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS SAY NO CHANGES BUT
 CONTRACTOR'S CONTRACT SUBMITTED INCLUDE ROOFING.
 CLARIFY AS REQUIRED.
 IF REPLACING ROOF SHINGLES, THEN NEED TO SPECIFY HOW
 COMPLYING WITH THE NEW 2020 CODE REQUIREMENT FOR
 ROOFING UNDERLAYMENT. SEC. R905.1.1.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: CLEARLY SPECIFY WHICH METHOD OF SEC. R905.1.1.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL IS GOING TO BE USED. AND PROVIDE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY F.A.C. 61G20-3.001.
 ROOFING SUB-PERMIT IS REQUIRED.
  
 8- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) ROOF SHINGLES ( IF REPLACED)
 B) ROOFING UNDERLAYMENT SPECIFIED.
  
 8- ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS
 (INCLUDING THOSE ALREADY SUBMITTED) AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE
 ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
