 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) 2ND REQUEST. IF THE SPECIAL INSPECTION FORMS ARE TO
 BE USED, NOTE A THRESHOLD INSPECTOR IS THERE FOR THE
 LIFE OF THE JOB. THE OTHER ISSUE IS FOR THRESHOLD
 INSPECTIONS FORMS A WRITTEN THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN
 IS ALSO REQUIRED. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT IF YOU DO NOT
 WANT TO USE THE CITY INSPECTORS FOR THE BUILDING
 INSPECTION PORTION OF THE PROJECT RESIDENT INSPECTOR
 FORMS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED.
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. SUBMITTED INSPECTION FORM IS FOR
 SPECIAL INSPECTOR (THRESHOLD BUILDINGS/ HIGHRISE) THE
 FORMS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT ARE RESIDENT INSPECTOR
 FORMS. PLEASE ALSO GET IN CONTACT WITH THE ACTING CHIEF
 BUILDING INSPECTOR TO SEE WHAT INSPECTIONS THE CITY
 WILL DO, FOUNDATIONS, WINDOW BUCK INSPECTIONS, AND
 WHICH INSPECTIONS THE P.E. CARL FORBS WILL COMPLETE. IF
 THE SPECIAL INSPECTION FORMS ARE TO BE USED, THEN
 COMPLIANCE WITH:
 109.3.6.1 THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN. THE ENFORCING
 AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE A (WRITTEN/ TYPED) SPECIAL
 INSPECTOR TO PERFORM STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS ON A
 THRESHOLD BUILDING PURSUANT TO A STRUCTURAL INSPECTION
 PLAN PREPARED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. THE STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTION PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCING
 AGENCY PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT FOR
 THE CONSTRUCTION OF A THRESHOLD BUILDING. THE PURPOSE
 OF THE STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN IS TO PROVIDE
 SPECIFIC INSPECTION PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULES SO THAT
 THE BUILDING CAN BE ADEQUATELY INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE PERMITTED DOCUMENTS.
  
 1B) SEMI-COMPLIED. THIS REVIEW MINIMUM BUILDING TYPE IS
 LABELED AS TYPE VA EXISTING, UNPROTECTED/ FULLY
 SPRINKLERED. DISCREPANCY TYPE VA IS 1 HOUR FIRE RATED
 SEE TABLE 601. BUILDING TYPE VB IS UNPROTECTED.
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. CODE ANALYSIS DOES NOT PROVIDE
 THE MINIMUM BUILDING TYPE, NOR THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE
 OF THE BUILDING NOR THE REMAINDER OF THE BUILDING
 OCCUPANCY TYPE COMPLIANCE WITH TABLE 506.2 AND SECTION
 508.1 OF THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING CODE.

 RESULT OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL INTERPRETATION ON
 06/2020. IN BATHROOMS, RESTROOMS & SERVICE SINK AREAS
 EPOXY PAINT IS NO LONGER CONSIDERED A SMOOTH HARD,
