 LEVEL 3 ALTERATION. SEC. 604 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 SEC. 901.2 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SEC. 801.3
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS,
 COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.

 A)DEMOLITION FLOOR PLAN SHOWS WALL ADJACENT TO THE
 STAIRWAY TO BE A BEARING WALL. THIS WALL IS REMOVED FOR
 NEW HANDRAIL. STRUCTURAL PLAN DOESN'T SHOW HOW THIS
 AREA IS REINFORCED SINCE THE BEARING WALL IS GONE.
 PROVIDE DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B)SPECIFY CONNECTOR AT EACH END OF NEW (3)2X12 BEAMS AT
 DINING ROOM, LIVING ROOM AND OFFICE/DEN SHOWN ON THE
 PROPOSED STRUCTURAL PLAN. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 C)SPECIFY CONNECTOR AT BOTTOM OF NEW COLUMNS SUPPORTING
 THE NEW BEAMS SHOWN ON THE PROPOSED STRUCTURAL PLAN.

 D)REVISE COMPONENT & CLADDING DESIGN PRESSURES. THERE
 ARE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF ROOFS IN THIS HOUSE (FLAT
 AND PITCHED). ALSO, THIS IS A TWO STORY HOUSE. REVISE
 EXPOSURE ADJUSTMENT COEFFICIENT AS REQUIRED BASED ON
 THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. TABLE R301.2(3) FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 2- SHEET A-01: PROPOSED BREAKFAST DOORS IS NOT CLEAR.
 FLOOR PLAN SHOWS DOOR D1 AS SLIDING GLASS DOORS, WHILE
 DOOR SCHEDULE SHOWS FRENCH DOORS. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO
 MATCH. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 FOR WINDOW MULLIONS.
 NOTE: CLEARLY SPECIFY MULLION SIZES TO BE INSTALLED TO
 VERIFY COMPLIANCE WIT THE DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 4-DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- THIS IS ALTERATION LEVEL 3 NOT LEVEL 2. WORK AREA
 EXCEEDS 50% OF THE BUILDING. REVISE NOTE ON ALL PLANS.
 SEC. 604 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 6- REVISE DETAIL S-5 ON SHEET S-02. REVISE THE SIZE OF
 THE STRUCTURAL BUCK SPECIFIED. STRUCTURAL BUCK NEEDS TO
 PROVIDE FULL SUPPORT TO THE DOOR FRAME AND NEED TO
 EXTEND BEYOND THE INTERIOR FACE OF THE WINDOW OR DOOR
 FRAME AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R609.7.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 2X4 BUCK IS SMALLER THAN THE DOOR FRAME. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
