 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 SHEET FOR THE INCLINED STAIR LIFT. THE LIFE SAFETY
 FLOOR PLAN IT IS UNDERSTOOD 1ST FLOOR AND SECOND FLOOR
 LANDING LOCATIONS, THE ISSUE I SEE IS ON THE A-2 FLOOR
 PLAN, SECTION A/A-2. THIS SECTION IS POINTED FOR THE
 VIEW TOWARDS THE EXTERIOR WALL. WHAT IS MISSING IN THIS
 SECTION IS THE EXIT DOOR LEADING TO THE EXTERIOR. IT
 WOULD APPEAR THE GUIDE RAILS FOR THE LIFT WOULD BLOCK
 THE DOORWAY. IF THE GUARDRAIL WAS INSTALLED ON THE
 OPPOSITE SIDE IT APPEARS IT WOULD BLOCK THE UPPER
 LANDING. WE REALLY NEED THE MANUFACTURERS SHOP DRAWING
 SHOWING HOW NEITHER LANDING WOULD BE BLOCKED NOR THE
 EXIT. WHAT IS SUPPLIED IT APPEARS NOT TO BE CODE
 COMPLIANT.
  
 6TH REVIEW. SHEET LS-1 IT APPEARS THE FIRST-FLOOR PLAN
 AND 1ST FLOOR STAIR LANDING IS MISSING, IT APPEARS THE
 1ST FLOOR LANDING IS SHOWN ON THE 2ND FLOOR PLAN AND
 THE 2ND FLOOR LANDING PLAN IS SHOWN ON THE 1ST FLOOR
 PLAN. 107.2.1. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 THE 1ST FLOOR LANDING FOR THE INCLINED CHAIRLIFT AND
 DOOR SWING APPEAR TO OVERLAP THE CHAIRLIFT BASE IT
 WOULD APPEAR TO BE SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 3-4 INCHES IN
 HEIGHT. DISCREPANCY. 107.2.1. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 SHALL BE SUFFICIENT CLARITY TO INDICATE THE LOCATION,
 NATURE AND EXTENT OF THE WORK PROPOSED AND SHOW IN
 DETAIL THAT IT WILL CONFORM TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
 CODE AND RELEVANT LAWS, ORDINANCES, RULES AND
 REGULATIONS, AS DETERMINED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 THE NEW VERTICAL 2ND FLOOR ADDITION CAN NOT CREATE A
 NON-CONFORMITY. 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE 1101.2. ALL
 NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING. CREATION OR EXTENSION
 OF NONCONFORMITY. ALL NEW WORK, RE-CONFIGURATION SHALL
 NOT CREATE OR EXTEND ANY NONCONFORMITY IN THE EXISTING
 BUILDING TO WHICH THE RE-CONFIGURATION OF SPACE IS
 BEING MADE REGARDING ACCESSIBILITY, FIRE SAFETY, &
 MEANS OF EGRESS SEE 2020 FBC-BUILDING SECTION 1011.3.
 THE LIFT DOES NOT INDICATE 80-INCH CLEARANCE FOR A
 PERSON THAT MAY NEED A CANE, CROTCHES OR WALKER FOR
 ACCESSIBILITY. AS DRAWN THE DETAIL DOES NOT HAVE THE
 REQUIRED 80 INCHES REQUIRED BY THE 2020 FBC-BUILDING
 CODE SECTION 1011.3. AS DRAWN THE 2ND FLOOR LEVEL ON
 THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PAGE IS IN THE REQUIRED VERTICAL
 80 INCHES FROM THE TOP OF THE INCLINED LIFT TAKEN FROM
 THE BACK SIDE OF THE LIFT, NOT THE LEADING EDGE. PLEASE

 SECTION 307.4 VERTICAL CLEARANCE SHALL BE 80 INCHES
 HIGH MINIMUM. DEFINITIONS: ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF EGRESS.
 A CONTINUOUS AND UNOBSTRUCTED WAY OF EGRESS TRAVEL FROM
 ANY POINT IN A BUILDING OF FACILITY THAT PROVIDES AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO AN AREA OF REFUGE, A HORIZONTAL
 EXIT OR A PUBLIC WAY.

 THE THIRD ISSUE IS WITH NOT HAVING THE CUT SHEETS FOR
 THE INCLINE LIFT, THE LIFT AS SHOWN MAY REQUIRE THE
 INTERIOR STAIR TO BE WIDER TO ACCOMMODATE THE INCLINE
 LIFT.
 4TH REQUEST. SHEETS A-2 & LIFE SAFETY SHEET FOR THE NEW
 CONSTRUCTION OF THE 2ND FLOOR TO ACHIEVE VERTICAL
 ACCESSIBILITY SHOW THE USE OF AN ADA STAIR LIFT WITHIN
 THE STAIRWELL FOR VERTICAL ACCESSIBILITY. PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE MANUFACTURERS TECHNICAL SHEETS FOR THE
 INCLINED PLATFORM LIFT, HOW IT WILL BE STORED WHEN NOT
 IN USE. BECAUSE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE (STAIRS) REQUIRES AN
 80-INCH VERTICAL CLEARANCE. CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN IN
 SELECTING LIFTS AS THEY MAY NOT BE EQUALLY SUITABLE FOR
 USE BY PEOPLE USING WHEELCHAIRS AND STANDING. IF A LIFT
 DOES NOT PROVIDE 80 INCHES VERTICAL CLEARANCE, IT
 CANNOT BE CONSIDERED PART OF AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE IN NEW
 CONSTRUCTION.
 ONCE A INCLINED LIFT IS SELECTED FOR USE ON STAIRS,
 PLEASE PROVIDE A ELEVATION VIEW OF THE STAIRWAY WITH
 THE LIFT PARTWAY UP THE STAIRS, SHOWING A STANDING
 PERSON AND COMPLYING WITH SECTION 1011.3 HEADROOM
 STAIRWAYS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM HEADROOM CLEARANCE OF
 NOT LESS THAN 80 INCHES MEASURED VERTICALLY FROM A LINE
 CONNECTING THE TOP OF THE INCLINED LIFT TO THE STAIR
 CEILING.
  
 3RD ROUND OF COMMENTS. SHEET A2 MISSING THE VERTICAL
 ACCESSIBILITY TO THE FIRST FLOOR AND VERTICAL
 ACCESSIBILITY TO THE 2ND FLOOR.
 2ND REQUEST. THE SP SHEET SHOWS THE LOCATION FOR LIFT.
 NO DETAILS FOR THE 2ND FLOOR. RESPONSE STATES SEE SHEET
 A-2 FOR LIFT TO 2ND FLOOR. NOT THERE, THE LULA LIFT
 SHOULD ALSO SHOW ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN. THE LIFE
 SAFETY PLAN HAS TO ISSUES AT LEAST WITH VERTICAL
 ACCESSIBILITY, THE 1ST IS VERTICAL ACCESSIBILITY TO THE
 NEW 2ND FLOOR, THE 2ND AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE, WHERE
 YOU DO NOT GO UP A RAMP FOR VEHICLES. THE 2020 EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE FOR ADDITIONS SEE SECTION 1105.1 IT
 REFERS YOU BACK TO THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE, NEW WORK
 MUST COMPLY WITH THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE AND FOR
 EXISTING BUILDING AN ADDITION THAT AFFECTS THE
 ACCESSIBILITY TO OR CONTAINS AN AREA OF. PRIMARY
 FUNCTION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORID BUILDING CODE, ACCESSIBILITY.

 CONNECTIONS. THIS BUILDING CONTAINS EITHER BOLTED AND
 OR WELDED CONNECTIONS. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO
 PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR
 PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THE REFERENCED STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION FOR
 FIELD WIELDING, ON THE JOB-SITE WIELDING. THIRD PARTY
 CERTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED.
 THE OWNER MAY JUST HIRE A 3RD PARTY ENGINEERING FIRM TO
 COMPLETE AND APPROVE THE FORMER INSPECTIONS. REPORTS
 SUBMITTED TO BUILDING INSPECTOR AT TIME OF FRAMING
 INSPECTION.

 PROPERTY LINE, SOUTH WHERE THE PROPOSED EXTERIOR STAIR
 LOCATION WILL BE BUILT, HOW FAR THE BUILDING IS TO THE
 PROPERTY LINE. SHEETS LS1-LIFE SAFETY PLAN, A2 FLOOR
 PLAN, A-6 STAIR DETAILS NOR SHEET S1 INDICATE THE CLEAR
 WIDTH OF THIS STAIR, THE OUTER MOST WIDTH MEASUREMENT
 OF THE STAIR WIDTH. SHEET S1 INDICATES A WF-24 STAIR
 FOUNDATION, BUT NOT FOUND ON THE FOUNDATION SCHEDULE.
 PLEASE NOTE THE LS-1 SHEET TABLE 705.8 DOES NOT ALLOW
 FOR OPENINGS WHERE EXTERIOR WALL IS 3 FEET OR LESS.
