 1) FAIR HOUSING ACT COMPLIANCE: THE CONDOMINIUMS AT TWO
 CITY PLAZA- 701 S. OLIVE AVE. WERE DESIGNED AND
 CONSTRUCTED IN COMPLIANCE THE FAIR HOUSING ACT DESIGN
 MANUAL. THE PROPOSED ALTERATIONS TO THE KITCHEN AND
 BATHROOM IN UNIT 910 SHALL ALSO BE IN COMPLIANCE.
 PLEASE PROVIDE CODE DATA INFORMATION ON SHEET 1 THAT
 INCLUDES COMPLIANCE WITH THE FAIR HOUSING ACT DESIGN
 MANUAL AND THE CURRENT FLORIDA BUILDING CODES- 2020 7TH
 EDITION. THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES ARE
 INCLUDED IN THE FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE- 2020 7TH
 EDITION AND THE FAIR HOUSING DESIGN ACT MANUAL.
  
 A) SHEET 1 & 2: THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OF RECORD SHALL
 INDICATE ON THE PLAN WHICH OF THE TWO BATHROOM TYPES IS
 THE BASIS OF DESIGN- SPECIFICATION TYPE A OR B ON THE
 PLANS. PLEASE REFER TO PAGES 7.34- 7.39 OF THE DESIGN
 MANUAL FOR EXPLANATORY INFORMATION ON SPECIFICATION A &
 B AND SHOW COMPLIANCE.
 B) SHEET 1 & 2: REFER TO CHAPTER 7 (REQUIREMENT 7
 USABLE KITCHENS & USABLE BATHROOMS) AND PROVIDE
 ENLARGED BATHROOM AND KITCHEN DRAWINGS AND DETAILS.
 BASED ON THE DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS PLEASE PROVIDE
 DETAILS AND NOTES IN COMPLINACE WITH THE CODE SECTIONS
 LISTED BELOW.
 PAGES 7.1- 7.6 CLEAR FLOOR SPACES FOR SINKS AND
 APPLIANCES
 PAGES 7.7- 7.11 CLEARANCES BETWEEN KITCHEN COUNTERS AND
 ALL OPPOSING ELEMENTS.

 ABOVE, PLEASE PROVIDE DRAWINGS AND DETAILS SHOWING GRAB
 BAR REINFORCEMENT LOCATIONS AND INSTALLATION DETAILS.

 PLEASE NOTE: AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO MEETING THE
 GUIDELINES FOR THE BATH ALTERATIONS, THE OWNER AND
 DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT MAY PROVIDE
 A SIGNED AND NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT WHICH WOULD INDICATE
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THE PROPOSED DESIGN DOES NOT MEET
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY
 GUIDELINES, BUT WILL ALSO REQUIRE THE OWNER TO AGREE TO
 REVERT THE UNIT BACK TO COMPLIANCE AT TIME OF SALE IF
 REQUESTED BY THE BUYER. IF THIS OPTION IS CHOSEN,
 PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO [email protected] AND I WILL SEND A
 COPY OF THE FAIR HOUSING AFFIDAVIT.
  
 2) SHEET 2: SHOW THE WATER LINE RUN TO THE REFRIGERATOR
 ICE MAKER, AND INDICATE A WATER HAMMER ARRESTOR AND
 BACKFLOW PREVENTER WILL BE INSTALLED- SECTION 604.9 &
 608.3 FBC P.
  
 3) SHEET 2: PLEASE REMOVE THE BROWARD COUNTY AMENDMENTS
 REFERENCE SHOWN BELOW THE PLUMBING NOTES- SECTION
 107.2.1 WPB.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
