 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) THE PERMIT VALUE OF $5,000.00 DOLLARS IS LOW FOR THE
 DESCRIPTION OF WORK. 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDERESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 2) SHEET A101 THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS NEW LOW WALLS AT THE
 TAKEOUT AREA. THERE ARE LOW WALLS AT 34 INCHES AND A
 42-INCH-HIGH WALL IT APPEARS AT THE POINT OF SALES.
 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 ACCESS. CODE 305.5 POSITION. UNLESS OTHERWISE
 SPECIFIED, CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE SHALL BE
 POSITIONED FOR EITHER A FORWARD OR PARALLEL APPROACH TO
 AN ELEMENT.
 904.4 SALES AND SERVICE COUNTERS. SALES COUNTERS AND
 SERVICE COUNTERS SHALL COMPLY WITH 904.4.1 OR 904.4.2.
 THE ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE COUNTERTOP SHALL EXTEND
 THE SAME DEPTH AS THE SALES OR SERVICE COUNTERTOP.
  
 3) SHEET A101 THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS NEW WALL IN CORRIDOR
 4 FEET WIDE. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR TURNING SPACES SEE
 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 304.3.
  
 4) SHEET A101 THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS AN EXISTING DOOR D-2
 TO THE RESTROOM ONLY 2 FEET WIDE. FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE SECTION: DISPROPORTIONATE COST 202.4.1. PLEASE
 REVIEW HOW YOU ARE TO MEET DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
 EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR THE DESIGNER OF RECORD ON
 THEIR LETTERHEAD NEED TO SHOW HOW THEY ARE GOING TO
 SPEND UP TO THE 20% ($1,000.00 DOLLARS)
 DISPROPORTIONATE FUNDS LISTED FOR EACH ELEMENT WHERE
 THE FUNDS ARE BEING SPENT AND IN THE ORDER LISTED IN
 SECTION 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST OF THE 2020
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE. THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW DOOR TO
 THE RESTROOM CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED FOR LESS THAN
 $1,000.00. FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION:
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST 202.4.1. PLEASE REVIEW HOW YOU
 ARE TO MEET DISPROPORTIONATE COST. EITHER THE
 CONTRACTOR OR THE DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR

 5) THE FLOOR PLAN DOES NOT INDICATE IF AT THE FRONT
 ENTRY DOOR FLOOR IS THE SAME LEVEL AS THE EXTERIOR SLAB
 OR A DIFFERENCE IN ELEVATIONS. 202 FBC-ACCESS. CODE
 CHANGES IN LEVEL 303.2 AND 303.3. WHERE CHANGES IN
 LEVEL ARE PERMITTED IN THE FLOOR OR GROUND SURFACES,
 THEY SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 303. SEE 303.1 & 303.2.
  
 6) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
