 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
 1) FLOOR PLAN WITH CUT SECTION OF DROPPED CEILING.
 PLANS INDICATE TO USE RC-1 RESILIENT SOUND CHANNEL TO
 DROP THE CEILING APPROXIMATELY 7/8 OF AN INCH.
  
 1A) THE PLAN DOES NOT INDICATE HOW THE RC-1 CHANNEL IS
 GOING TO BE ATTACHED TO THE EXISTING CONCRETE CEILING
 AND THE FREQUENCY OF THE FASTENERS. 107.2.1.2.
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 1B) THE CUT SECTION FOR THE DROPPED CEILING SHOWS THE
 USE OF RC-1 RESILIENT SOUND CHANNEL (APPROXIMATELY 7/8
 INCH IN HEIGHT). WHAT TYPE OF HIGH HATS ARE GOING TO
 FIT IN THE SPACE CREATED BY THE HIGH HAT/ RC-1 CHANNEL?
 PLEASE SUPPLY A MANUFACTURERS SPEC FOR THIS PRODUCT.
 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED. THE
 ELECTRICAL SHEET INDICATES 3 INCH LED HIGH HATS.

 DRYWALL CEILING, THE THICKNESS OF THE DRYWALL IS NOT

 GIVEN, WILL NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2020 FBC-B
 SECTION 1208.2 MINIMUM CEILING HEIGHTS FOR HABITABLE
 ROOMS SHALL HAVE A CEILING NOT LESS THAN 7 FEET 6
 INCHES FROM FINISH FLOOR.
  
 2) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
