 (1)- THIS BUILDING WAS FLAGGED AS AN UNSAFE BUILDING.
 ALSO, THERE IS ALSO A RED-TAG FOR FULL GUT REMODEL
 WITHOUT PERMITS. NEED TO PROVIDE AN ENGINEERING
 ANALYSIS ESTABLISHING THE STRUCTURAL ADEQUACY OF THE
 ALTERED BUILDING AND PROVIDE COMPLETE SET OF PLANS
 SHOWING ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK. PROVIDE COMPLETE SET OF
 PLANS SHOWING ALL THE STRUCTURAL DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS. COMPLETE PLANS WITH ALL ROOMS
 DIMENSIONS, ETC.
 PLANS NEED TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 907
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 LEVEL 3 ALTERATION. SEC. 604 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 SEC. 907 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SEC. 901.2 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING. SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE.

 (1)(A)WALL SECTION DETAIL 4/A-1 ON SHEET A-0 SUBMITTED
 NEEDS TO BE REVISED:
 1-WALL SECTION SHOWS ONLY ONE TOP PLATE. THIS IS AN
 EXTERIOR BEARING WALL. TYPICALLY, WOOD FRAME BEARING
 WALLS HAVE DOUBLE TOP PLATE. ENGINEER TO REVISE DETAIL
 OR PROVIDE COMPLETE ENGINEERING ANALYSIS SHOWING WHY
 ONLY ONE TOP PLATE IS ADEQUATE. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2-WALL SECTION DOESN'T SHOW THE LOAD PATH SHOWING HOW
 THE LOADS ARE TRANSFERED FROM THE ROOF TO THE
 FOUNDATION TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-RESIDENTIAL
 (2020). ENGINEER FAILED TO SPECIFY THE ROOF TO WALL
 HURRICANE CONNECTION, 2X4 STUDS TOP AND BOTTOM
 HURRICANE CONNECTIONS AND 2X4 STUDS SPACING.

 HOUSE. PHOTOS SUBMITTED SHOW CONVENTIONAL ROOF JOISTS
 AND ROOF RIDGE CONSTRUCTION. REVISE DETAIL AS REQUIRED
 TO MATCH ACTUAL CONDITIONS. AND, ENGINEER TO PROVIDE
 HURRICANE CONNECTION OF ROOF JOIST TO ROOF RIDGE. SEC.
 R601.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY

 (1)(B)ENGINEER'S STRUCTURAL REPORT STATES ON THE FRONT
 PAGE CONCLUSIONS& RECOMMENDATIONS THAT THE HOME DOESN'T
 HAVE ANY STRUCTURAL DEFICIENCIES AND THE HOME IS
 SUITABLE FOR ITS INTENDED OCCUPANCY. THE PHOTOS OF THE
 EXTERIOR WALL AND THE ROOF SHOWN ON THE SAME REPORT
 DON'T SHOW ANY HURRICANE STRUCTURAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN
 THE STRUCTURAL FRAMING MEMBERS SHOWING THE LOAD PATH.
 ALSO, THE EXTERIOR WALL PHOTO SHOWS NO BASE PLATE AT
 THE BOTTOM OF THE WALL BEARING WOOD STUDS. ENGINEER OF
 RECORD TO CLARIFY AND PROVIDE COMPLETE ANALYSIS SHOWING
 HOW THIS STRUCTURE IS STRUCTURALLY SOUND TO RESIST ALL
 LOADS, INCLUDING WINDLOADS. SEC. R301.2.1

 PROVIDE COPY OF SIGNED CONTRACTS INCLUDING DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES.
