 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE DEMOLITION PLANS SHOW THAT THERE ARE 4 EXISTING
 APARTMENTS EACH WITH A KITCHEN AND AND A BATHROOM. THE
 OCCUPANCY TYPE FOR THIS BUILDING IS R-2. BECAUSE THIS
 IS NOT A ONE/ TWO FAMILY DWELLING OR A TOWNHOUSE THE
 FBC RESIDENTIAL CODE DOES NOT APPLY. THE CODES THAT DO
 APPLY ARE THE 2020 FBC EXISTING BUILDING AND FBC
 BUILDING.
  
 2) THE PROPOSED FIRST FLOOR PLAN SHOWS ONE OF THE TWO
 UNITS WITH THE KITCHEN REMOVED AND BEING CONVERTED TO A
 GYM WITH A LAUNDRY ROOM AND A BEDROOM. PLEASE CLARIFY
 THE PURPOSE AND USE OF THIS AREA. FBC AMENDMENTS

 3) THE APARTMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE SEPARATED FROM
 EACH OTHER AND COMMON AREAS BY FIRE RESISTIVE RATED
 WALL PARTIONS AND FLOOR CEILING ASSEMBLIES. INDICATE
 THE RATED WALLS AND CEILINGS ON THE PLANS. FBC 420
  
 4) PROVIDE DETAILS THAT SHOW THE GUARDS AT THE
 BALCONIES AND STAIRS COMPLY WITH FBC 1015 FOR HEIGHT
 AND OPENING LIMITATIONS.
  
 5) A THOROUGH AND COMPLETE PLAN REVIEW CANNOT BE
 COMPLETED AT THIS TIME DUE TO LACK OF INFORMATION ON
 THE SUBMITTED PLANS. ADDITIONAL PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS
 MAY BE GENERATED WHEN MORE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED.
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
 RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
