 CODE: FBC 7TH EDITION (2020) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.

 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE.
  
 1- ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE ALL THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SPECIFY THE
 ULTIMATE AND NOMINAL WIND LOAD, BUILDING EXPOSURE,
 BUILDING MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. ALSO, SPECIFY THE COMPONENTS
 AND CLADDING DESIGN PRESSURES FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS.
  
 2- THE DEMOLITION PLANS SUBMITTED UNDER THIS
 APPLICATION AND THE DEMOLITION PLANS SHOWN UNDER PERMIT
 #21080674 DON'T MATCH. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO MATCH TO
 AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- SCOPE OF WORK IS NOT CLEAR. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
 ARE EXISTING WINDOWS AND EXTERIOR DOORS GOING TO BE
 REPLACED?. IF SO, THEN SPECIFIC THE EXISTING WINDOW
 TYPE AND SIZE AND SPECIFY PROPOSED WINDOW TYPE AND SIZE
 TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. 7025 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING. FOR EXTERIOR SWING DOORS, SPECIFY EXISTING
 DOOR SIZE AND PROPOSED SIZE.
  
 4- SECOND FLOOR WINDOW OPENING CONTROL DEVICES: WINDOW
 OPENING CONTROL DEVICES IN WINDOW REPLACEMENT ARE
 REQUIRED WHEN THE TOP SILL OF THE WINDOW OPENING IS AT
 A HEIGHT LESS THAN 24 INCHES (610 MM) ABOVE THE
 FINISHED FLOOR.
 CLEARLY SPECIFY IF THERE ARE ANY WINDOWS WHERE THE
 WINDOW SILL IS LESS THAN 24" ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR.
 SEE SEC. 702.4 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL AS REQUIRED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 (NOTE: THIS MAY BE SUBMITTED LATER AS A DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL. PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR REVIEW
 PRIOR TO INSTALLATION TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS. ALL
 PRODUCT APPROVALS NEED TO BE APPROVED IN WRITING BY
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL):
  
 A)EXTERIOR DOORS. (IF REPLACED).
 B)WINDOWS (IF REPLACED)
 C)WINDOW MULLIONS (NOTE: NEED TO SPECIFY MULLION SIZE
 TO AVOID DELAYS/CONFLICTS).
 D)HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF DOORS AND WINDOWS DON'T HAVE
 IMPACT GLAZING. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION

 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 8- DEMOLITION PLANS SHOW REMOVAL OF WALLS BY THE
 STAIRWAY. NO INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED FOR THE NEW
 GUARDRAIL AND HANDRAIL. PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R312.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL AND SEC. R311.7.8 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 9- DEMOLITION PLANS CALLS FOR REMOVAL OF WALLS BY THE
 MASTER BEDROOM ENTRY AREA. NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE
 DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NEW WALLS. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 10- PROPOSED FIRST FLOOR PLAN SHOWS THE CONVERSION OF
 THE FLORIDA ROOM
 TO BAR LOUNGE. THE FLORIDA ROOM WAS NOT PART OF THE
 HEATED (AND AIR CONDITIONED) SPACE OF THE MAIN HOUSE.
 BASED ON THE PROPOSED PLAN, IT LOOKS LIKE NOW THE BAR
 LOUNGE IS GONG TO BE PART OF THE HEATED SPACE OF THE
 MAIN HOUSE. ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE DETAILS/SPECIFICATIONS
 SHOWING HOW THIS ROOM IS GOING TO BE HEATED AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R303.10 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 11- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
 REVISE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK.
