 REVISION IS DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) THE REVISED ELEVATIONS FOR THE GROUND LEVEL OF THE
 RESIDENTIAL TOWERS SPECIFY THE TOP OF SLAB (TOS) AS
 8.9' NAVD 88 AND THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION (FFE) AS
 9.07' NAVD 88. THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN A SPECIAL
 FLOOD HAZARD AREA (SFHA) AND THE REQUIRED DESIGN FLOOD
 ELEVATION (DFE) IS 9' NAVD 88. ALL OF THE AREAS OF THE
 BUILDINGS AND ALL OF THE EQUIPMENT THAT SERVICE THE
 BUILDINGS ARE REQUIRED TO BE AT OR ABOVE THE 9' DFE. BY
 NOT HAVING THE TOS AT THE 9' NAVD 88 ELEVATION, ALL OF
 THE SLAB INCLUDING EQUIPMENT ROOMS WILL HAVE TO BE
 COVERED WITH SOMETHING SO THAT IT MEETS THE REQUIRED
 ELEVATION. THIS MAY BECOME A PROBLEM WHEN THE PROJECT
 IS NEARING CONSTRUCTION AND TEMPORARY CERTIFICATES OF
 OCCUPANCY OR CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY ARE BEING
 REQUESTED. PLEASE CLARIFY HOW YOU INTEND TO COMPLY WITH
 THE CITY'S FLOOD ORDINANCE. FBC 1612
  
 2) THE REVISED ELEVATIONS FOR THE GROUND LEVEL OF THE
 PARKING GARAGE SPECIFIES THE ELEVATION FOR THE TOP OF
 SLAB (TOS) AS 8.9' NAVD 88. SHOW WHAT WILL BE DONE TO
 THE GARAGE TO MAKE IT COMPLY WITH THE CITY'S FLOOD
 ORDINANCE. FBC 1612
  
 3) THE EQUIPMENT ROOMS AND FUTURE USE RESIDENTIAL ROOMS
 ON THE GROUND FLOOR OF THE GARAGE ARE SPECIFIED WITH
 THE TOP OF SLAB (TOS) AS 8.9' NAVD 88 AND THE FINISH
 FLOOR (FF) AS 9.07' NAVD 88. THESE AREAS ALSO WILL
 REQUIRED SOME TYPE OF TOPPING ON THE SLAB TO REACH THE
 REQUIRED DFE ELEVATION. FBC 1612
  
 4) THE REVISED ELEVATIONS FOR THE BEACH CLUB SPECIFY
 TOS AS 7.47' NAVD88 AND FFE AS 7.64' NAVD88. IN THIS
 CASE THE FFE DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIRED DESIGN
 FLOOD ELEVATION (DFE) OF 9' NAVD 88. PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE CITY'S FLOOD ORDINANCE WILL BE
 ATTAINED. DRY FLOOD-PROOFING OR WET FLOOD PROOFING WITH
 FLOOD VENTS ARE OPTIONS. FBC 1612
