 PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREA
 (SFHA). IT IS LOCATED IN ZONE AE WITH BASE FLOOD
 ELEVATIONS OF 7.0 FEET. DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION SHALL BE
 NOT LESS THAN 9.0 FEET NAVD.
  
 BASED ON THE VALUE OF THIS SUBMITTAL, THE WORK ON THE
 PROPERTY IS CONSIDERED A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT (S/I)
 PER FEMA P-758.
  
 1201.3FLOOD HAZARD AREAS.
 IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS, IF ALL PROPOSED WORK, INCLUDING
 REPAIRS, WORK REQUIRED BECAUSE OF A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY, AND ALTERATIONS, CONSTITUTES SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT, THEN THE BUILDING SHALL COMPLY WITH
 SECTION 1612 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING, OR
 SECTION R322 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL,
 AS APPLICABLE.
  
 1.BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES IN FLOOD HAZARD AREAS,
 INCLUDING FLOOD HAZARD AREAS DESIGNATED AS COASTAL A
 ZONES, SHALL HAVE THE LOWEST FLOORS ELEVATED TO OR
 ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION PLUS 2 FEET, OR THE
 DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER.
  
 2. SUBMIT AN ELEVATION CERTIFICATE FOR REVIEW.
