 2020 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) DISCREPANCY IN PLANS. THE COVERSHEET C1 STATES THERE
 IS 129 SEATS OR OCCUPANTS NOT COUNTING THE KITCHEN AREA
 OR THE QUEUING AREA THAT WOULD ADD AN ADDITIONAL 20
 OCCUPANTS OR A TOTAL OF 92 OCCUPANTS. NEITHER SHEET
 SHOWS ANY SEASONAL SEATING. 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 2) SHEET 1.3A INDICATES 72 SEATS AND ONLY SHOW 1
 ACCESSIBLE SEAT. THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET DOES NOT SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
 2A) 226.1 WHERE DINING SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE
 CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR DRINK, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT (72 X
 0.05 = 3.6 OR 4 ACCESSIBLE SEATS REQUIRED) OF THE
 SEATING SPACES AND STANDING SPACES AT THE DINING
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.
  
 2B) 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE DISPERSED
 THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY CONTAINING DINING

 RESTAURANTS AND CAFETERIAS, AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE SHALL
 BE PROVIDED TO ALL DINING AREAS, INCLUDING RAISED OR
 SUNKEN DINING AREAS, AND OUTDOOR DINING AREAS.
  
 2D) 902.1. DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3. ADVISORY 902.1 GENERAL.
 DINING SURFACES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, BARS,
 TABLES, LUNCH COUNTERS, AND BOOTHS. EXAMPLES OF WORK
 SURFACES INCLUDE WRITING SURFACES, STUDY CARRELS,
 STUDENT LABORATORY STATIONS, BABY CHANGING AND OTHER
 TABLES OR FIXTURES FOR PERSONAL GROOMING, COUPON
 COUNTERS, AND WHERE COVERED BY THE ADA SCOPING
 PROVISIONS, EMPLOYEE WORKSTATIONS.
  
 2D)(1) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD
 APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE
 COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 2D)(2) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND
 WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 3) THE SHEET 1.3A THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN DOES SHOW 2
 MEANS OF EGRESS, BUT THE PLANS DO NOT SHOW IF BOTH
 EXITS ARE ACCESSIBLE. 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION 207.1 MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION
 1003.2.13 OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (2000
 EDITION AND 2001 SUPPLEMENT) OR SECTION 1007 OF THE
 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (2003 EDITION).
  
 2003 IBC-B 1007.1 WHERE MORE THAN ONE MEANS OF EGRESS
 IS REQUIRED BY SECTIONS 1014.1 OR 1018.1 FROM ANY
 ACCESSIBLE SPACE, EACH ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE SPACE
 SHALL BE SERVED BY NOT LESS THAN TWO MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 4) ON BOTH THE SHEETS 1.0A & 1.3A THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET
 IT APPEARS THE FRONT ENTRY DOOR IS DRAWN AS BOTH A
 LEFT-HAND AND ALSO A RIGHT-HAND OUTSWING DOOR.
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED. 107.2.1.2.
  
 5) IN BOTH PLANS SHEET 1.0A AND 1.3A THE LIFE SAFETY
 PLAN THERE IS AN ENCLOSED EXIT STAIRWAY WITH AN INSWING
 DOOR NOT IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL. 2020 FBC-B

 6) IN BOTH PLANS SHEET 1.0A AND 1.3A THE LIFE SAFETY
 PLAN THERE IS AN ENCLOSED EXIT STAIRWAY WITH AN INSWING
 DOOR NOT IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL. BEYOND THAT FROM
 THE NEW CAF? THERE IS ANOTHER EXIT DOOR TO WHAT APPEARS
 TO BE AN EXIT PASSAGEWAY. JUST TO THE LEFT OF THE CAF?
 EXIT DOOR THERE IS WHAT APPEARS TO BE 2 WINDOWS, THE
 PLAN DOES NOT SHOW THIS AREA AS A BLOCK WALL. THE DOOR
 SCHEDULE INDICATES EXISTING STEEL DOOR. SEE TABLE 716.5
 FOR WINDOW LISTINGS IN EXIT PASSAGEWAYS.
  
 7) SHEETS 1.0A, 1.3A THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN, 1.1A THE
 EQUIPMENT PLAN AT THE EQUIPMENT LABELED # 14 ROASTER
 THERE ARE 2 CIRCLES ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE WALL. SHEET
 4.1M SHOWS AN INTAKE LOUVER AND AN EXHAUST SINGLE WALL
 FLUE. IT APPEARS THAT YOU HAVE LEFT THE EXIT AT THE
 STAIRWELL AND ARE IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE AN EGRESS
 COURT. THE EGRESS COURT WILL NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH 1028.4.2 CONSTRUCTION AND CAPACITY FOR BOTH THE
 NEW EXTERIOR METAL FRAMING , FRT. EXT. PLYWOOD AND
 PAPER LATH TO MATCH BUILDING, PROVIDE THE THICKNESS
 REQUIRED FOR 1 HOUR PROTECTION. PLEASE ALSO SHOW
 PROTECTION FOR THE 12 X12 INTAKE LOUVER. PROVIDE A
 STRUCTURAL DETAIL OF HOW THIS WALL SECTION IS TO BE
 BUILT, WHAT IS THE WALL FRAMING GOING TO ANCHOR TOO.
 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 8) SHEET 1.4A DETAILS. SECTION 1-1.4A SHOWS AN EXISTING
 PVC SANITARY PIPE. PLEASE SHOW ON EITHER THE EQUIPMENT
 PLAN OR FLOOR PLAN WHERE THIS PIPE IS LOCATED. PLEASE
 ALSO PROVIDE WITH WHAT MATERIALS THIS CHASE IS GOING TO
 BE BUILT, PROVIDE TYPE OF FRAMING. SIZE AND SPACING OF
 FRAMING, HOW IT WILL BE ANCHORED TO THE DECK ABOVE,
 TYPE OF MATERIAL TO CREATE THE CHASE, THICKNESS AND IF
 THE CHASE IS TO BE FIRE RATED OR NOT. 107.2.1.2.

 PAPER DISPENSER DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE TOILET. TOILET
 PAPER DISPENSERS. 2020 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 604.7. THE
 TOILET PAPER DISPENSER SHALL COMPLY WITH 309.4 AND
 SHALL BE 7 INCHES MINIMUM TO 9 INCHES MAXIMUM IN FRONT
 OF THE WATER CLOSET MEASURED TO THE CENTERLINE OF THE
 DISPENSER.
