 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 5) BUILDING PROVISO: WELDED OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS. THIS
 BUILDING CONTAINS EITHER BOLTED AND OR WELDED
 CONNECTIONS. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD
 PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE
 QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED
 STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION FOR FIELD WIELDING, ON
 THE JOB-SITE WIELDING. THIRD PARTY CERTIFICATION WILL
 BE REQUIRED.
 THE OWNER MAY JUST HIRE A 3RD PARTY ENGINEERING FIRM TO
 COMPLETE AND APPROVE THE FORMER INSPECTIONS. REPORTS
 SUBMITTED TO BUILDING INSPECTOR AT TIME OF FRAMING
 INSPECTION.

 SECOND GUST HAS BEEN CORRECTED. THE 168 MPH/ VULT WOULD
 BE FINE, 130 MPH/ VASD. UNDER THE HEADING 11 WIND
 PRESSURES NOTE 1 STATES THE ROOF AND WALL PRESSURES
 WERE TAKEN AT A MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF 11 FEET. SHEET A3.0
 THE EXTERIOR ELEVATION SHEET SHOWS PARAPET HEIGHTS OF
 23 & 25 FEET IN HEIGHT. THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT IS NOT
 GIVEN. SHEET S2.2 IS FOR ROOF AND MEZZANINE FRAMING
 PLAN, SO WITH A MEZZANINE LEVEL MEZZANINE FLOOR FRAMING
 AND ROOF BAR JOIST THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT IS DEFINITELY
 OVER 11 FEET IN HEIGHT AND THE ASSOCIATE WALL AND ROOF
 PRESSURES PROVIDED. WIND LOAD CALCULATIONS PAGE 60 OF
 77 HAS TAKEN THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF 20 FEET

 CRITERIA NOTE 5) WIND LOADS LIST THE BASIC WIND SPEED
 AS V(3 SECOND GUST AS 108 MPH. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2020
 FBC-B SEE FIGURE 1609.3(1) VULT DESIGN WIND SPEED/ 3
 SECOND GUST., VULT FOR RISK CATEGORY II BUILDINGS. WE
 ARE LOCATED IN THE 170 MPH, 3 SECOND GUST VULT WIND
 ZONE OR 132 MPH, 3 SECOND GUST. VASD. YOU CAN
 INTERPOLATE BETWEEN WIND SPEED CONTOUR LINES. I COULD
 NOT FIND IN THE PLANS WHERE THE DESIGN PRESSURES WERE
 GIVEN FOR ZONES 1,2,3 ROOF ZONES AND WALL ZONES 4 & 5.
 PLEASE PROVIDE ALL PRESSURES IN VASD SINCE THE
 PRESSURES ARE IN THE PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE VASD. PLEASE
 PROVIDE CHARTS FOR EFFECTIVE WIND AREA IN 10 SQ. FT.,
 20 SQ. FT., 50 SQ. FT., AND 100 SQ. FT. AND VALUES FOR
 THE STATED MEAN ROOF HEIGHT. STATED PRESSURES SHOULD BE
 IN VASD THE SAME AS PRODUCT APPROVALS, EXPOSURE C .
  
 7-11) BUILDING PROVISOS/ DEFERRED SUBMITTALS.
  
 7) DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. THERE ARE SEVERAL PRODUCT
 APPROVALS SUBMITTED THAT DO NOT HAVE EITHER A FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL OR A MIAMI-DADE NOA. ALL PRODUCT
 APPROVALS IN FLORIDA MUST HAVE A THIRD-PARTY QUALITY
 ASSURANCE PROGRAM AND ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS HAVE TO HAD
 PASSED THE LARGE MISSILE TESTING OR HAVE THE OPENINGS

 8) DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. THE DESIGNER OF RECORD AT THIS
 TIME ASK FOR ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS TO BE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTALS. NOTE IF THE PRODUCT APPROVALS ARE ISSUED
 WITH THE PLANS AND IF THE TBD TO BE DETERMINED
 CONTRACTOR ELECTS TO USE A DIFFERENT PRODUCT EACH NEW
 PRODUCT APPROVAL IS CONSIDERED A SEPARATE REVISION, IF
 REVIEWS AND ASSOCIATED FEES.
 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS
 SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
  
 9) DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. W. P. B. 107.3.4. PRODUCT
 APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY
 FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE RULE 61G20 SHALL BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING (SHOP DRAWING STAMP OF
 APPROVAL) BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL
 FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC.
  
  
 10) DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. IDENTIFY GLAZING/ MULLIONS.
 PLEASE IDENTIFY ON THE PRODUCT APPROVAL BEFORE
 SUBMITTING TO DESIGNER OF RECORD AND BEFORE SUBMISSION
 TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. FOR ALL PRODUCTS WITH
 GLAZING, PLEASE IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT,
 TYPE OF GLAZING, MULLION SIZE, LENGTH IF UNREINFORCED
 OR REINFORCED INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND
 ASSOCIATE PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2020 FBC-B
 1405.13.1 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURERS
 INSTRUCTIONS. FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN SUCH INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED
 BASED ON MAXIMUM LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 11) DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. 107.2.1.2 FOR ROOF ASSEMBLIES
 REQUIRED BY THE CODE, THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL
 ILLUSTRATE, DESCRIBE AND DELINEATE THE TYPE OF ROOFING
 SYSTEM, MATERIALS, VENTING, FASTENING REQUIREMENTS,
 FLASHING REQUIREMENTS AND WIND RESISTANCE RATING THAT
 ARE REQUIRED TO BE INSTALLED. PRODUCT EVALUATION AND
 INSTALLATION SHALL INDICATE COMPLIANCE WITH THE WIND
 CRITERIA REQUIRED FOR THE SPECIFIC SITE. FOR ALL
 ROOFING PRODUCTS PLEASE IDENTIFY ALL ROOFING
 SUB-SYSTEMS AND THEIR ASSOCIATED PRESSURES FOR ROOF
 ZONE # 1. REVIEW THE PRODUCT APPROVAL LIMITATIONS, IF
 ENHANCED FASTENING IS ALLOWED FOR ROOF ZONES 2 & 3.
 FASTENER DENSITIES SHALL BE INCREASED FOR BOTH
 INSULATION & THE BASE SHEET AS CALCULATED IN COMPLIANCE
 WITH ROOFING APPLICATION STANDARDS RAS 117. CALCULATION
 PREPARED, SIGNED AND SEALED BY A FLORIDA REGISTERED
 PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER OR REGISTERED ARCHITECT.
