 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE.
  
 1- ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS AND PAM BEACH COUNTY
 PROPERTY APPRAISER THE REAR STRUCTURE IS A
 CARPORT/GARAGE. THERE ARE NO PERMITS FOR THE GARAGE
 CONVERSION.
 THIS IS CONSIDERED A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY AND ALTERATION
 LEVEL 3. NEED TO PROVIDE PLANS PREPARED BY LICENSED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. 605
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SEC. 1001.2.1 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING. SEC. 604 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC. 801.3
 EXISTING BUILDING.
  
 2- DESIGN PROFESSIONAL TO PROVIDE EVALUATION AND
 ANALYSIS SHOWING THAT EXISTING STRUCTURE WILL RESIST
 THE LATERAL FORCE LOADS AS REQUIRED BY SEC 907.4.1
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 SEC. 605 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. SEC. 604 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING.
  
 3- PLANS SUBMITTED DON'T SPECIFY THE USE OF THE SPACE.
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PREPARING THE NEW PLANS TO CLEARLY
 SPACE THE USE OF THE NEW SPACE. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 4-PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 1013
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC. R101.5.1 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
 NOTE: COORDINATE WITH ITEM #5 BELOW AND MAKE SURE
 CALCULATIONS ARE SIGNED BY ALL THE REQUIRED PARTIES,
 INCLUDING THE OWNER OR AUTHORIZED AGENT TO AVOID
 CONFLICT/DELAYS.
  
 5- DESIGN PROFESSIONAL TO SPECIFY WALL AND CEILING
 INSULATION.

 6- PLANS TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIRED HEATING
 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 605 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC.
 R303.10 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS LOW.
 VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 REVISE VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK,
 INCLUDING ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND BUILDING
 WORK. NONE OF THIS WORK WAS PERMITTED.
