 DWELLING UNITS, THE ALTERATIONS THAT ARE PROPOSED IN

 HOUSING ACT. THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES
 ARE INCLUDED IN THE FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE- 2020
 SEVENTH EDITION. REFER TO REQUIRMENT 7 USUABLE KITCHENS
 AND BATHROOMS AND PAGE 7.33 IN THE FAIR HOUSING ACT
 DESIGN MANUAL.
 BASED ON THE DRAWING IT IS NOT CLEAR IF USABLE BATHROOM
 SPECIFICATION TYPE A OR B WAS CHOSEN AS THE ORIGINAL
 DESIGN HOWEVER BECAUSE FIXTURES IN THE MASTER AND GUEST
 BATHS ARE BEING REPLACED, IT IS NECESSARY TO DETERMINE
 WHICH TYPE SO THAT THE REPLACED FIXTURES CAN REMAIN IN
 COMPLIANCE. PLEASE REFER TO PAGES 7.34- 7.39 FOR
 EXPLANATORY INFORMATION ON SPECIFICATION A & B.
 THE DRAWINGS APPEAR TO INDICATE NO CHANGES TO THE
 LOCATIONS OF THE WATER CLOSETS. LAVATORY AND BATHTUB
 FIXTURES AND FAUCET LOCATIONS. PLEASE REFER TO:
  
 PAGES- 7.40-7.46 WATER CLOSET CLEAR FLOOR SPACES.

 DEPENDENT ON DETERMINATION OF WHICH SPECIFICATION HAS
 BEEN CHOSEN- A OR B. IN SPECIFICATION A BATHROOMS WHERE
 ALL FIXTURES MUST MEET THE GUIDELINES, IF THE ROOM IS
 EQUIPPED WITH A BATHTUB AND SEPARATE SHOWER, BOTH
 FIXTURES MUST BE PROVIDED WITH THE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE.
 IN SPECIFICATION B BATHROOMS, ONLY ONE BATHING FIXTURE
 MUST BE PROVIDED WITH THE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. PLEASE SEE
 THE FIGURES CONTAINED IN PAGES 7.56- 7.59 FOR CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE POSITIONING AND CONTROLS LOCATIONS.
  
 A) P.1: SHOW THE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE DIAGRAMS AND
 DIMENSIONS FOR THE BATHROOM FIXTURES BASED ON EITHER
 SPECIFICATION A OR B. PLEASE INCLUDE KNEE AND TOE

 PLEASE NOTE: AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO MEETING THE
 GUIDELINES FOR THE BATH ALTERATIONS, THE OWNER AND
 DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT MAY PROVIDE
 A SIGNED AND NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT WHICH WOULD INDICATE
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THE PROPOSED DESIGN DOES NOT MEET
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY
 GUIDELINES, BUT WILL ALSO REQUIRE THE OWNER TO AGREE TO
 REVERT THE UNIT BACK TO COMPLIANCE AT TIME OF SALE IF
 SO REQUESTED BY THE BUYER. IF THIS OPTION IS CHOSEN,

 COPY OF THE FAIR HOUSING AFFIDAVIT.
