 FOR CITY RECORDS, PLEASE PROVIDE WRITTEN EXPLANATION
 HOW COMPLYING WITH THE OWNER/BUILDER LICENSE CONTRACTOR
 EXEMPTION SEC. 489.103 F.S. EXPLAIN PURPOSE OF PROPERTY
 IMPROVEMENT AND CONVERSION TO TWO DWELLING UNITS.
  
 B) OWNER/BUILDER DISCLOSURE STATEMENT SUBMITTED IS
 MISSING THE ADDRESS OF THE PROPERTY WHERE WORK IS TAKEN
 PLACE. NEED TO WRITE THE ADDRESS.

 2- PLANS SUBMITTED SHOW TWO DWELLING UNITS. ACCORDING
 TO CITY RECORDS, PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER
 AND WEBSITE WHEN THE HOUSE WAS FOR SALE, THIS HOUSE IS
 A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE WITH ONE BATHROOM. THERE ARE
 NO PERMITS FOR THE CONVERSION OF THIS SINGLE FAMILY
 RESIDENCE INTO TWO DWELLING UNITS. NEED TO PROVIDE
 COMPLETE SET OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING THE
 EXISTING CONSTRUCTION TO BE REMOVED AND CLEARLY SHOWING
 PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE SET OF PLANS REFERENCING
 THE CURRENT CODE IN EFFECT AND DRAWN TO SCALE AND
 SHOWING DIMENSIONS FOR ALL ROOMS AND SPACES. PLANS NEED
 TO HAVE THE NAME AND SIGNATURE OF THE PERSON
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESIGN.

 4- PLANS NEED TO PROVIDE ALL THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA.
 CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHICH METHOD FROM THOSE LISTED IN SEC.
 R301.2.1.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL IS USED.
 PROVIDE ALL THE REQUIRED INFORMATION: BUILDING
 EXPOSURE, ULTIMATE WIND SPEED, NOMINAL WIND SPEED AND
 ALL THE DESIGN PRESSURES FOR ALL COMPONENTS AND
 CLADDING. SEC. R301.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- NEED STRUCTURAL PLANS SHOWING:
 A)ENCLOSURE OF EXISTING PORCH.
 NOTE: CLEARLY SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND
 STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS.
 SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B)FLOOR PLANS TO SHOW ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS. AND,
 PROVIDE COMPLETE WINDOWS AND DOORS FRAMING DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS.
 NOTE: CLEARLY SPECIFY ALL FRAMING MEMBERS AND
 STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS.
 SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 6- NEW BEDROOMS:
 A)NEW INTERIOR BEDROOM SHOWN ON SKETCH SUBMITTED
 DOESN'T COMPLY WITH THE EMERGENCY EGRESS REQUIREMENTS
 OF SEC. R310.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 B)SPECIFY WINDOW TYPE AND SIZE FOR ALL BEDROOMS SHOWING
 COMPLIANCE WITH SEC. R310.2.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- SPECIFY SIZE OF ALL ENTRY DOORS SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH SEC. R311.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 8- PLANS TO CLEARLY SHOW THE WALL SEPARATING THE TWO
 DWELLING UNITS. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE DETAILS AND
 SPECIFICATIONS FOR FIRE RATED WALL SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH SEC. R302.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 9- PLANS NEED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE HEATING
 REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R303.10 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: SKETCH SUBMITTED SHOW ONLY ONE A/C FOR UNIT "B".
 NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE MECHANICAL PLANS AND EQUIPMENT
 CALCULATIONS FOR REVIEW FOR BOTH UNITS.

 D)WINDOW MULLIONS IF SHOWN ON PLANS(NOTE: NEED TO
 SPECIFY MULLION SIZE TO AVOID DELAYS/CONFLICTS).
 E)HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF DOORS AND WINDOWS DON'T HAVE
 IMPACT GLAZING. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION

 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. UPDATE
 VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK SHOWN ON
 PLANS OR PROVIDE COPY OF SIGNED CONTRACTS INCLUDING
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES FOR BUILDING OFFICIAL
 APPROVAL.
 NOTE:
 PERMIT FEES WILL BE ADJUSTED ONCE THE OVERALL VALUE IS
 ADJUSTED.
