 NOTE THIS IS A ADDITION TO AN EXISTING BUILDING. THE
 EXISTING BUILDING SQUARE FOOTAGE IS 3025 OFFICE AND 30,
 885 WAREHOUSE OR 33,910 SQ. FT. + 14,950 SQ. FT. =
 48,860 TOTAL SQ. FT. THE MINIMUM ALLOWABLE WOULD BE
 EITHER TYPE V-A SPRINKLERED OR III-B SPRINKLERED.

 REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS &
 WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED STANDARDS AT TIME OF
 INSPECTION FOR FIELD WIELDING, ON THE JOB-SITE
 WIELDING. THIRD PARTY CERTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED.
 THE OWNER MAY JUST HIRE A 3RD PARTY ENGINEERING FIRM TO
 COMPLETE AND APPROVE THE FORMER INSPECTIONS. REPORTS
 SUBMITTED TO BUILDING INSPECTOR AT TIME OF FRAMING

 DRAWING, THEY DO NOT REQUEST THESE ITEMS TO BE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTALS INCOMPLIANCE WITH 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED
 SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED
 SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN
 THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION
 AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL
 WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD. DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS
 ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.

 APPROVALS FOR COMPONENTS AND CLADDING ARE IN VASD.

 6A) SHEET M-2 THE MECHANICAL ROOF TOP PLAN 1 SHOWS 4
 RTU UNITS ON THE ROOF. THE PLAN DOES NOT INDICATE HOW
 YOU ARE GOING TO GET UP ONTO THE ROOF TO SERVICE THE
 EQUIPMENT.
  
 2017 FBC-M 306.5 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR
 ELEVATED STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT REQUIRING ACCESS
 OR APPLIANCES ARE LOCATED ON AN ELEVATED STRUCTURE OR
 THE ROOF OF A BUILDING SUCH THAT PERSONNEL WILL HAVE TO
 CLIMB HIGHER THAN 16 FEET (4877 MM) ABOVE GRADE TO
 ACCESS SUCH EQUIPMENT OR APPLIANCES, AN INTERIOR OR
 EXTERIOR MEANS OF ACCESS SHALL BE PROVIDED. SUCH ACCESS
 SHALL NOT REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER OBSTRUCTIONS GREATER
 THAN 30 INCHES (762 MM) IN HEIGHT OR WALKING ON ROOFS
 HAVING A SLOPE GREATER THAN 4 UNITS VERTICAL IN 12
 UNITS HORIZONTAL (33-PERCENT SLOPE). SUCH ACCESS SHALL
 NOT REQUIRE THE USE OF PORTABLE LADDERS. WHERE ACCESS
 INVOLVES CLIMBING OVER PARAPET WALLS, THE HEIGHT SHALL

 6B) THE PLANS ARE MISSING COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2020 FBC-B 1011.16 LADDERS. PERMANENT LADDERS SHALL NOT
 SERVE AS A PART OF THE MEANS OF EGRESS FROM OCCUPIED
 SPACES WITHIN A BUILDING. PERMANENT LADDERS SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
 1.SPACES FREQUENTED ONLY BY PERSONNEL FOR MAINTENANCE,
 REPAIR OR MONITORING OF EQUIPMENT.
 5.NONOCCUPIED ROOFS THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE
 STAIRWAY ACCESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1011.12.1.
 6.LADDERS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION 306.5 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, MECHANICAL.
  
 6C) IF THE SHIPS LADDER IS BUILT IN THE INSIDE OF THE
 BUILDING THEN A ROOF HATCH WOULD ALSO BE REQUIRED. ROOF
 TOP HATCHES/ ROOF ACCESS/ 2020 FBC-B 1011.12.2. IN
 BUILDINGS THAT DO NOT HAVE AN OCCUPIED ROOF SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO BE A ROOF HATCH OR TRAP DOOR NOT LESS THAN
 16 SQUARE FEET IN AREA AND HAVING A MINIMUM DIMENSION
 OF 2 FEET.
  
 7) THIS REQUIREMENT IS IF THERE IS NO RESIDENT
 INSPECTOR ON THE JOB. SHEET S-201 THE ROOF FRAMING PLAN
 DOES NOT SHOW THE NECESSARY ADDITIONAL FRAMING FOR THE
 ROOF TOP CURBS. SHEET S-403 DOES PROVIDE NOTES FOR
 EXISTING ROOF TOPS BUT NOT THE WELDING REQUIREMENTS FOR
 ADDITIONAL ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS, TYPES OF WELDS AND
 SIZE AND SPACING. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE
 WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR
 PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THE REFERENCED STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION FOR
