 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET 1.1 FLOOR PLAN DEMO & REMODEL:
 1A) PLEASE CORRECT THE EXISTING TOILET ACCESSORY
 SCHEDULE FOR GB, AND GB-1. THE NOTES INDICATE THE GRAB
 BARS ARE TO BE MEASURED33-36 INCHES AFF TO THE
 CENTERLINE OF THE GRAB BAR. PLEASE UPDATE NOTE TO READ
 33-36 INCHES AFF TO THE TOP OF THE GRASPABLE SURFACE.
 2020 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 609.4 POSITION OF
 GRAB BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN A HORIZONTAL
 POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR MEASURED TO THE TOP OF THE GRIPPING
 SURFACE, NOT CENTERLINE.
  
 1B) BUILDING PROVISO: PLEASE NOTE IF IN THE FIELD THE
 GRAB BARS ARE EITHER TO HIGH OR TO LOW UNDER THE 2020
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE, THE EXISTING BUILDING CODE
 REFERS BACK TO THE 2020 ACCESSIBILITY CODE AND THE 20 %
 DISPROPORTION COST RULE. UP TO $5,900 DOLLARS IN VALUE
 ABOVE THE CONTRACT VALUE CAN BE REQUIRED FOR
 ACCESSIBILITY UPGRADES. 202.4.1. DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
  
 1C) THE DEMO PLAN SHOWS THE EXISTING DRINKING FOUNTAIN
 TO BE RELOCATED. THE NEW PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN SHOWS THE
 NEW LOCATION FOR THE DRINKING FOUNTAIN BUT NOT
 ELEVATIONS AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2020 ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE SECTIONS:
  
 1C)(1) SPOUT OUTLETS/ DRINKING FOUNTAINS. 2017 ACCESS.
 CODE. SPOUT OUTLETS SHALL COMPLY WITH:
 602.4 SPOUT HEIGHT. 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR OR GROUND FOR WHEELCHAIR BOUND INDIVIDUALS.
 602.7 SPOUT HEIGHT FOR THE STANDING PERSONS SHALL BE
 BETWEEN 38 TO 43 INCHES ABOVE FINISH FLOOR.
  
 1C)(2) PROTRUDING OBJECTS 307.2 PROTRUSION LIMITS
 307.2. OBJECTS WITH LEADING EDGES MORE THAN 27 INCHES
 AND NOT MORE THAN 80 INCHES ABOVE THE FLOOR SHALL NOT
 PROTRUDE MORE THAN 4 INCHES HORIZONTALLY INTO THE
 CIRCULATION PATH.
  
 1D) THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN SHOWS THE ADJACENT TENANT
 AS THE PROGRESS PHARMACY. THE FLOOR PLAN ALSO STATES
 THERE IS AN EXISTING 1-HOUR FIRE RATED TENANT
 SEPARATION WALL. WITHIN THIS SAME WALL THERE IS A NOTE
 TO CUT A NEW PASS THROUGH THE WALL 3 FEET X 6 FEET
 8INCHES. IS THIS A NEW DOOR? IS THE DESIGNER OF RECORD
 REQUIRING THE TENANT SEPARATION WALL TO MAINTAIN THE
 ONE-HOUR FIRE RATING? 2020 FBC-B 708.1. & 715.6 OPENING
 PROTECTIVES.
