 DENIED - * NOTE: THE BEACH CLUB WAS PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED
 UNDER PERMIT #18100526. SOME OF THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS ARE WITH PERMIT #18100526.
  
 1) PROPERTY TO BE REPLATTED PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE
 FIRST C.O. PER SECTION 6(2)(E)(II) OF RESOLUTION NO.
 185-18 (THE "DEVELOPMENT ORDER").
  
 2) YOU HAVE INDICATED THAT YOU WISH TO DRY FLOOD PROOF
 THE BEACH CLUB, PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS. FBC

 A) A NEW PRE-CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE FOR THE
 DRY FLOOD PROOFING.
 B) PROVIDE A DRY FLOOD PROOFING PLAN THAT INCLUDES
 WHERE THE PANELS ARE TO BE STORED AND WHO WILL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR INSTALLING THEM WHEN A FLOOD EVENT IS
 EXPECTED.
 C) SHOW HOW THE WALLS WILL BE WATER PROOFED UP TO THE
 DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION OF 9.0' NAVD 88.
 D) THE PLANS SHOW KITCHEN EQUIPMENT AND A MEDIA CABINET
 IN THE OUTSIDE BAR AREA. SPECIFY HOW THAT AREA WILL BE
 PROTECTED FROM FLOOD WATERS.
 E) PROVIDE ENGINEERING TO SHOW THAT THE WALLS OF THE
 BEACH CLUB WILL BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND THE STATIC AND
 DYNAMIC PRESSURES FROM FLOOD WATERS UP TO THE DESIGN
 FLOOD ELEVATION OF 9.0' NAVD 88.
 I WILL SEND YOU THE REQUIRED FLOOD PROOFING CERTIFICATE
 FORM AND THE NFPI TECHNICAL BULLETIN ON THE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR DESIGN AND CERTIFICATION OF DRY FLOOD
 PROOFING... JUST LET ME KNOW WHERE TO SEND IT.
  
 (PREVIOUS COMMENT) SHEET A1.420 SPECIFIES THE FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION FOR THE BEACH CLUB AS 7.64' NAVD 88.
 SUBMIT THE PRE-CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE THAT
 WAS SUBMITTED FOR THE BEACH CLUB UNDER PERMIT #18100526
 HAS THE FFE AS 9.0' NAVD 88. PLEASE CLARIFY.
 THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN AN AE FLOOD ZONE WITH A BASE
 FLOOD ELEVATION OF 7' NAVD88. THE CITY'S FLOOD
 ORDINANCE REQUIRES A 2' FREEBOARD WHICH MAKES THE
 DESIGN FLOOD ELEVATION FOR THIS PROJECT 9.0'. ALL
 EQUIPMENT SERVICING THE BUILDING IS REQUIRED TO BE AT
 OR ABOVE 9' NAVD. ELEVATION CERTIFICATES WILL BE
 REQUIRED TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE CITY'S FLOOD
 POLICY. THE CITY REQUIRES THREE ELEVATION CERTIFICATES.
 THE PRECONSTRUCTION ELEV. CERT. BASED ON THE
 CONSTRUCTION DRAWING HAS BEEN SUBMITTED. THE SECOND, A
 CONSTRUCTION ELEV. CERT. BASED ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
 FORMS AND THE THIRD A FINAL ELEV. CERT. BASED ON THE
 FINISHED BUILDING ARE TO BE SUBMITTED IN A TIMELY
 MANNER. THE CITY'S FLOOD ORDINANCE ARTICLE XVII - FLOOD
 PREVENTION AND CONTROL SEC. 94-546 - PROVISIONS FOR
 FLOOD HAZARD REDUCTION.
  
 3) A SEPARATE ROOF PERMIT IS REQUIRED. PRIOR TO
 INSTALLATION, SUBMIT ROOF PERMIT APPLICATION WITH
 PRODUCT APPROVALS REVIEWED BY DESIGNER OF RECORD AND
 ENGINEERING (IF APPLICABLE).
  
 4) DEFERRED SUBMITTALS REQUESTED BY ARCHITECT.
 DOCUMENTS SHOWING COMPLIANCE ARE TO BE REVIEWED BY
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL (ARCHITECT OR
 ENGINEER FOR PRODUCT APPROVALS AND OTHER SPECIFICATION
 DOCUMENTS, STRUCTURAL ENGINEER OF RECORD APPROVAL AND
 REVIEW IS REQUIRED FOR DELEGATED ENGINEERING).
 SUBMITTAL, REVIEW AND APPROVAL ARE REQUIRED PRIOR TO
 INSTALLATION.
  
 5) COMPONENT & CLADDING PRODUCT APPROVALS REVIEWED BY
 DESIGNER OF RECORD ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING
 DIVISION, REVIEWED AND ISSUED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
 CONFIRM COMPLIANCE WITH PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET S6.0 -
 S6.3 PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL. IF PRODUCT APPROVAL OFFERS
 OPTIONS, INDICATE OPTION PROPOSED, ESPECIALLY IF NOT
 ALL OPTIONS COMPLY WITH MINIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 6) SEPARATE PERMITS (APPLICATIONS, PLANS, AND FEES) ARE
 REQUIRED FOR:

 FIRE ALARM
 FIRE SPRINKLER
 LOW VOLTAGE
 ACCESS
