 DUCT SHALL BE IDENTIFIED ON A PERMANENT LABEL OR TAG.
 THE LABEL OR TAG SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN 6 FEET (1829
 MM) OF THE EXHAUST DUCT CONNECTION.
  
 4) PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER FROM THE DRYER MANUFACTURER
 STATING THAT THE X VENT DRYER EXHAUST TERMINATION IS
 ALLOWED WITH EACH SPECIFIC DRYER. THE X VENT IS UNIQUE
 IN THE FACT THAT IT USES BOTH THE BACK-DRAFT DAMPER AND
 THE LOUVER. THE INSTALLATION MANUAL DOES NOT ADDRESS
 THIS KIND OF INSTALLATION. WITH THE X VENT SYSTEM THE
 BOX OF THE X VENT IS MOUNTED INTO THE EXTERIOR OF THE
 WALL AND THE LOUVER IS FLUSH TO THE EXTERIOR WALL. THE
 EXHAUST OF THE DRYER MUST TRAVEL THROUGH THE EXHAUST
 DUCT, OPEN THE BACK-DRAFT DAMPER AND TRAVEL THROUGH THE
 X VENT COVER (LOUVER) BEFORE IT IS EXHAUSTED TO THE
 OUTDOORS. BECAUSE THIS PRODUCT USES BOTH THE BACK-DRAFT
 DAMPER AND THE OUTER COVER OF THE BOX (LOUVER) INSTEAD
 OF EITHER THE BACK-DRAFT DAMPER OR THE LOUVER AS
 TYPICALLY SEEN IN THE MANUFACTURES INSTALLATION MANUAL
 THE OUTER LOUVER IS A RESTRICTION THAT MUST BE
 ADDRESSED. IN LIEU OF THE MANUFACTURES LETTER STATING
 THE MAXIMUM DRYER EXHAUST DUCT TO BE USED WITH THE X
 VENT SYSTEM THE ENGINEER OF RECORD MUST DETERMINE THE
 AMOUNT OF RESTRICTION THIS CREATES AND THE EFFECT TO
 THE DRYER EXHAUST DUCT LENGTH. THE ENGINEER OF RECORD
 MUST SUBMIT THE CALCULATIONS AND PROVIDE MAX. EXHAUST
 DRYER DUCT LENGTHS FOR EACH DRYER USED IN THIS PROJECT.
