 EITHER A FL. LICENSED ARCHITECT, ENGINEER OR PLUMBING
 CONTRACTOR- SEE SECTIONS 107.2.1 & 107.2.1.3 WPB, AND
 FL. STATUTES 471.025 & 481.221, AND SECTIONS

 2) THE CURRENT HALL BATH PLAN INDICATES A 4 IN. LONG
 BATHTUB BEING REPLACED IN THE HALL BATH WHICH WOULD
 MORE LIKELY BE A 5 FT. TUB BASED ON STANDARD SIZES-
 SECTION 407.1 FBC P. PLEASE INDICATE THE NEW TUB AND
 SHOWER VALVE SHALL BE A BALANCED-PRESSURE, THERMOSTATIC
 OR COMBINATION BALANCED-PRESSURE/THERMOSTATIC VALVE
 THAT CONFORMS TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASSE 1016/ASME
 A112.1016/CSA B125.16 OR ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1-
 SECTION 412.3 FBC P.
 3) PLEASE SHOW THE LOCATION OF THE EXISTING TOILET IN
 THE MASTER BATH PLAN- SECTION 107.2.1 WPB.
  
 4) FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES: BECAUSE THE
 BUILDING WAS CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACT AND
 THE DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR USABLE BATHROOMS IN DWELLING
 UNITS, THE PROPOSED ALTERATIONS SHALL ALSO BE IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE FAIR HOUSING ACT. THE FAIR HOUSING
 ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES ARE INCLUDED IN THE FLORIDA
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE- 2017 SIXTH EDITION. REFER TO
 REQUIRMENT 7 USUABLE KITCHENS AND BATHROOMS AND PAGE
 7.33 IN THE FAIR HOUSING ACT DESIGN MANUAL. THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD SHALL INDICATE ON THE REVISED PLANS
 WHICH BATHROOM SPECIFICATION- TYPE A OR TYPE B WAS USED
 IN THE ORIGINAL DESIGN. THE DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE
 PROJECT IS ADVISED TO DO A RECORDS REQUEST OF THE
 ORIGINAL APPROVED PLANS TO MAKE THAT DETERMINATION.
 RECORDS REQUESTS CAN BE ACCESSED ON THE CITY OF WEST
 PALM BEACH WEBSITE UNDER DEVELOPMENT SERVICES. THE
 ORIGINAL DESIGN INTENT NEEDS TO BE KNOWN IN ORDER TO
 RELOCATE THE TUB AND SHOWER VALVE AND FAUCET TO THE
 OPPOSITE SIDE TO MEET COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIRED
 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE APPROACH TO THE BATHTUB AND ACCESS TO
 THE CONTROLS. PLEASE SEE THE FOLLWING PAGES FROM THE
 FAIR HOUSING DESIGN ACT MANUAL- PAGES 7.33, 7.34, 7.35,
 7.36, 7.37, 7.53- 7.55. CONCERNING THE NEW DOUBLE BOWL
 VANITY PLEASE SEE PAGES 7.47- 7.52
 PLEASE NOTE: AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO MEETING THE
 GUIDELINES FOR THE BATH ALTERATIONS, THE OWNER AND
 DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT MAY PROVIDE
 A SIGNED AND NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT WHICH WOULD INDICATE
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THE PROPOSED DESIGN DOES NOT MEET
 THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY
 GUIDELINES, BUT WILL ALSO REQUIRE THE OWNER TO AGREE TO
 REVERT THE UNIT BACK TO COMPLIANCE AT TIME OF SALE IF
 SO REQUESTED BY THE BUYER. IF THIS OPTION IS CHOSEN,
 PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL TO [email protected] AND I WILL SEND A
 COPY OF THE FAIR HOUSING AFFIDAVIT.
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE
 LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE CITY
