 FIRE RATED WALLS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A FIRE RATING AS
 REQUIRED FOR THE WALL. SEE FEMA TB 1 FOR GUIDANCE. YOU
 ALSO HAVE THE OPTION TO ELEVATE THE GARAGES TO THE DFE
 OR TO DRY FLOOD PROOF THE DETACHED GARAGES.
 THIS PROJECT IS IN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREA, AE. THE
 BFE IS 14' NAVD88 AND THE DFE IS 16' NAVD88. THE FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION OF THE GARAGE IS SPECIFIED AS 15'
 NAVD88. THIS IS ONE FOOT BELOW THE REQUIRED DFE AND
 WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE DESIGNED WITH FLOOD VENTS OR BE
 FLOOD PROOFED. PROVIDE A DESIGN THAT COMPLIES WITH THE
 CITY'S FLOOD ORDINANCE. SPECIFY THE PROPOSED ELEVATION
 OF THE GARAGE SLAB, IN NAVD 88 VERTICAL DATUM, ON THE

 A) ROOF TILE: THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE ROOF TILE
 DOES NOT HAVE THE COVER SHEET WITH THE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL NUMBER THAT REFERENCES THE EVALUATION REPORT
 THAT WAS SUBMITTED. HIGHLIGHT OR CIRCLE THE SPECIFIC
 TYPE AND NUMBER OF FASTENERS THAT WILL BE USED TO
 ATTACH THE ROOF TILES. IF AN ADHESIVE WILL BE USED,
 SUBMIT THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR IT.
 B) GARAGE DOOR: THE PRODUCT APPROVAL DRAWINGS FOR THE
 OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS ARE INCOMPLETE. A PORTION OF THE
 UPLOADED DRAWINGS ARE MISSING. PLEASE SUBMIT COMPLETE
 DRAWINGS.
 C) NO PRODUCT APPROVALS WERE SUBMITTED FOR THE OUTSWING
 SIDE HINGED DOORS.
 D) SUBMIT THE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH A SHOP REVIEW
 STAMP MARKED APPROVED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE
 PROJECT.
 FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC 61G20-3.001
 PER FLORIDA STATUTE 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA
 NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM
 DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT ROOFING
 MATERIALS, ROOF VENTS, SWING DOORS AND OVERHEAD GARAGE
 DOORS. THESE ITEMS CAN BE DEFERRED IF REQUESTED,
 HOWEVER, THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND APPROVED
 BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT BEFORE THEY CAN BE
 INSTALLED. ONLY ONE SET IS REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED FOR
 ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS.
  
 9) DEFERRED. SUBMIT TRUSS DRAWINGS AND A TRUSS LAYOUT
 PLAN. FBC 2303.4 THESE ITEMS CAN BE DEFERRED IF
 REQUESTED, HOWEVER, THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND
 APPROVED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT BEFORE THEY CAN BE
 INSTALLED. ONLY ONE SET IS REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED FOR
 ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS.

 HAVE THE PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION
 DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 SHALL LIST THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION

 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 11) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
 CITY RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
