 AMEND.107.2.1.2 THE PROPOSED FLOOD VENTS IN THE GARAGE
 DOORS DO NOT COMPLY WITH FEMA TECHNICAL BULLETIN 1 FOR
 WET FLOOD PROOFING. AT LEAST 2 FLOOD OPENINGS ARE
 REQUIRED ON DIFFERENT SIDES OF THE ENCLOSURE. THE
 REQUIRED NET OPEN AREA FOR NON-ENGINEERED FLOOD VENTS
 IS 1 SQUARE INCH FOR EACH SQUARE FOOT OF ENCLOSED AREA
 (MEASURED ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE ENCLOSURES WALLS).
 ONLY THE NET FREE AREA EXCLUDING LOUVERS, SCREENS, ETC.
 CAN BE COUNTED. THE SPACES BETWEEN GARAGE DOORS AND
 JAMBS OR WALLS CAN NOT BE COUNTED. ONLY THE NET AREA OF
 THE VENTS THAT AREA BELOW DFE CAN BE COUNTED. VENTS IN
 FIRE RATED WALLS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A FIRE RATING AS
 REQUIRED FOR THE WALL. SEE FEMA TB 1 FOR GUIDANCE. YOU
 ALSO HAVE THE OPTION TO ELEVATE THE GARAGES TO THE DFE
 OR TO DRY FLOOD PROOF THE DETACHED GARAGES.
 THIS PROJECT IS IN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREA, AE. THE
 BFE IS 14' NAVD88 AND THE DFE IS 16' NAVD88. THE FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION OF THE GARAGE IS SPECIFIED AS 15'
 NAVD88. THIS IS ONE FOOT BELOW THE REQUIRED DFE AND
 WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE DESIGNED WITH FLOOD VENTS OR BE
 FLOOD PROOFED. PROVIDE A DESIGN THAT COMPLIES WITH THE
 CITY'S FLOOD ORDINANCE. SPECIFY THE PROPOSED ELEVATION
 OF THE GARAGE SLAB, IN NAVD 88 VERTICAL DATUM, ON THE
 ARCHITECTURAL PLANS. FBC 1612
  
 2) RESOLVED. PROVIDE A DETAIL FOR THE REQUIRED ONE HOUR
 FIRE RESISTIVE RATED CEILING ASSEMBLY AND THE LISTING

 TREATMENT THAT WILL BE USED AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE
 ONE HOUR FIRE RESISTIVE RATED THE INTERIOR WALLS AND

 4) PARTIALLY RESOLVED. THE DATE ON THE REVISED
 GEOTECHNICAL REPORT IS 1/1/2020 AND THE YEAR SHOULD BE
 2021. PLEASE CORRECT. SECTION 4.2 ON THE GEOTECHNICAL
 REPORT STATES THAT THE FOOTINGS SHOULD BOTTOM AT LEAST
 18" BELOW FINAL GRADE. SHOW HOW THIS BUILDING WILL MEET
 THIS REQUIREMENT. FBC 107.2
  
 5) RESOLVED. WALL SECTION 2 ON SHEET GA-1, SHOWS THE
 BOTTOM OF THE FOOTER 8" BELOW GRADE. FBC REQUIRES THE
 BOTTOM OF FOOTINGS TO BE A MINIMUM OF 12" BELOW GRADE.

 AT THESE LOCATIONS WITH ONLY THE CONCRETE SLAB AND NO
 FOOTING. PLEASE COORDINATE. FBC 107.2
  
 7) RESOLVED. PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS FOR THE TYPE L
 FIRE RATED MASONRY WALLS BETWEEN THE GARAGES. SPECIFY
 THE FOOTING, WALL AND TIE BEAM REINFORCING. FBC 2101
  
 8) PARTIALLY RESOLVED. A) ROOF TILE: THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR THE ROOF TILE DOES NOT HAVE THE COVER
 SHEET WITH THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER THAT
 REFERENCES THE EVALUATION REPORT THAT WAS SUBMITTED.
 HIGHLIGHT OR CIRCLE THE SPECIFIC TYPE AND NUMBER OF
 FASTENERS THAT WILL BE USED TO ATTACH THE ROOF TILES.
 IF AN ADHESIVE WILL BE USED, SUBMIT THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR IT.
 B) GARAGE DOOR: THE PRODUCT APPROVAL DRAWINGS FOR THE
 OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS ARE INCOMPLETE. A PORTION OF THE
 UPLOADED DRAWINGS ARE MISSING. PLEASE SUBMIT COMPLETE
 DRAWINGS.
 C) SUBMIT THE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH A SHOP REVIEW
 STAMP MARKED APPROVED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD FOR THE
 PROJECT.
 FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC 61G20-3.001
 PER FLORIDA STATUTE 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE BEEN REVIEWED
 AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH FL OR NOA
 NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS AND MAXIMUM
 DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT ROOFING
 MATERIALS, ROOF VENTS AND OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS. THESE
 ITEMS CAN NOT BE DEFERRED FOR A MASTERED BUILDING. THE
 DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED AND APPROVED BY THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT BEFORE THE MASTER WILL BE APPROVED.
 ONLY ONE SET IS REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED FOR
 ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS.
  
 9) NOT RESOLVED. IF YOUR INTENT IS TO MASTER THESE
 PLANS SO THAT THEY CAN BE USED FOR MULTIPLE BULIDINGS,
 THE REQUESTED TRUSS DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THIS OFFICE BEFORE
 THE PLANS ARE APPROVED. PLEASE CLARIFY. SUBMIT TRUSS
 DRAWINGS AND A TRUSS LAYOUT PLAN. FBC 2303.4
  
 10) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE

 "MASTER" THESE PLANS TO BE USED FOR MULTIPLE BUILDINGS
 OR YOU WILL BE SUBMITTING COMPLETE PLANS FOR EACH OF
 THE GARAGE BUILDINGS. IF THE PLANS ARE TO BE MASTERED,
 ALL OF THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED
 AND APPROVED BEFORE THE MASTER WILL BE APPROVED.
