 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) ACCORDING TO THE FLOOD INSURANCE RATE MAP WHICH WAS
 ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 5, 2017 AND IS APPLICABLE TO THIS
 PROJECT, THE STRUCTURE IS IN AN AE FLOOD ZONE WHICH IS
 A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREA. THE FLOOD ZONE IS AE AND
 THE BFE IS 14' NAVD88. THE REQUIRED DFE IS 16' NAVD88.
 THE BUILDING AND ALL OF THE EEQUIPMENT SERVICING IT ARE
 REQUIRED TO BE AT OR ABOVE THE DFE, 16' NAVD88. AS OF
 OCTOBER 5TH, 2017, THE CITY HAS ADOPTED NEW FLOOD
 INSURANCE RATE MAPS WHICH USE NAVD 88 AS THE VERTICAL
 DATUM. THE CITY ALSO ADOPTED A 2' FREEBOARD WHICH
 REQUIRES THE FINISH FLOOR AND EQUIPMENT TO BE A MINIMUM
 OF TWO FEET ABOVE THE BFE. SPECIFY ALL ELEVATIONS IN
 NAVD 88. THREE ELEVATION CERTIFICATES ARE REQUIRED TO
 BE SUBMITTED. 1) A PRE-CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATE BASED ON THE CONSTRUCTION PLANS IS REQUIRED
 BEFORE THE PERMIT IS ISSUED. 2) A BUILDING UNDER
 CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION CERTIFICATE WHEN FIRST FLOOR
 SLABS ARE POURED. 3) A FINISHED CONSTRUCTION ELEVATION
 WHEN THE JOB IS COMPLETE INCLUDING LANDSCAPING. THE
 FINAL ELEVATION CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED
 AND APPROVED BEFORE THE C.O. WILL BE ISSUED.
  
 2) SPECIFY THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION ON THE
 ARCHITECTURAL PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 3) THE LIFE SAFETY LEGEND ON SHEET CH-LS-0.1 HAS THE
 TRAVEL DISTANCE AS 200' FOR PROTECTED WITH AUTOMATIC
 FIRE SPRINKLERS. FBC TBL 1017.2 HAS 200' FOR
 NON-SPRINKLERED AND THIS BUILDING IS NOT SPRINKLERED.
 PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 4) THE EXIT ACCESS TRAVEL DISTANCE FROM THE WORK ROOM
 SHOULD BE SHOWN FROM THE MOST REMOTE CORNER OF THE
 STORAGE ROOM. FBC 1017.3 MEASUREMENT. EXIT ACCESS
 TRAVEL DISTANCE SHALL BE MEASURED FROM THE MOST REMOTE
 POINT WITHIN A STORY ALONG THE NATURAL AND UNOBSTRUCTED
 PATH OF HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL EGRESS TRAVEL TO THE
 ENTRANCE TO AN EXIT.
  
 5) ON SHEET CH-LS-0.1, THE OCCUPANCY SEPARATION
 REQUIREMENTS SPECIFY FBC TBL. 508.4. THIS TABLE IS FOR
 SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES. SINCE YOU DO NOT SPECIFY AND
 FIRE RATED WALLS ON THE PLANS, IT APPEARS THAT YOU WISH
 TO USE NON-SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES. THE SECTION THAT
 WOULD APPLY TO THIS PROJECT WOULD BE FBC 508.3 FOR
 NON-SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES.
  
 6) THE BUILDING SECTIONS ON SHEET CH-2.2 ARE
 INCORRECTLY TAGGED AS BEING ON SHEET CH-3.2. THESE
 SECTION ARE ACTUALLY ON SHEET CH-3.3. PLEASE CORRECT.
  
 7) PLEASE SHOW THE WHEEL CHAIR TURNING RADIUS SPACE IN
 THE BATHROOMS. FBC ACCESSIBILITY 304.3
  
 8) SHOW THE REQUIRED ACCESSIBLE ACCESS TO THE EXERCISE
 EQUIPMENT. FBC ACCESSIBILITY 1004.1 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE.
 EXERCISE MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT SHALL HAVE A CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR TRANSFER
 OR FOR USE BY AN INDIVIDUAL SEATED IN A WHEELCHAIR.
 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACES REQUIRED AT EXERCISE
 MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE PERMITTED TO OVERLAP.
  
 9) THE DOOR TO THE WORK ROOM DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE
 THE REQUIRED MINIMUM 18" ON THE PULL SIDE. FBC
 ACCESSIBILITY 404.2.4.1 SWINGING DOORS AND GATES SHALL
 HAVE MANEUVERING CLEARANCES COMPLYING WITH TABLE
 404.2.4.1.
  
 10) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC 1210.2.2 WALLS AND
 PARTITIONS. WALLS AND PARTITIONS WITHIN 2 FEET (610 MM)
 OF SERVICE SINKS, URINALS AND WATER CLOSETS SHALL HAVE
 A SMOOTH, HARD, NONABSORBENT SURFACE, TO A HEIGHT OF
 NOT LESS THAN 4 FEET (1219 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR, AND
 EXCEPT FOR STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS, THE MATERIALS USED IN
 SUCH WALLS SHALL BE OF A TYPE THAT IS NOT ADVERSELY
 AFFECTED BY MOISTURE.
  
 11) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 PER FLORIDA STATUTE 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER
 OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH
 FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT
 ROOFING MATERIALS, WINDOWS (GLASS TYPES), STRUCTURAL
 MULLIONS AND EXTERIOR DOOR TYPES. THESE ITEMS CAN BE
 DEFERRED IF REQUESTED, HOWEVER, THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE
 SUBMITTED AND APPROVED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT
 BEFORE THEY CAN BE INSTALLED. ONLY ONE SET IS REQUIRED
 TO BE UPLOADED FOR ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS.
  
 12) FBC 107.3.4 SUBMIT TRUSS DRAWINGS, TRUSS LAYOUT
 PLANS, AND SHOP DRAWINGS FROM OTHER DELEGATE ENGINEERS
 FOR REVIEW.
  
 13) FBC 107.3.4.1 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES
 OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS
 THOSE PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT
 THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED
 PERIOD. DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE
 PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. DOCUMENTS FOR
 DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE
 WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD THEM TO THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE
 IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING.
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED
 UNTIL THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN
 APPROVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 14) ART IN PUBLIC PLACES
 THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ART IN PUBLIC PLACES
 ORDINANCE REQUIREMENT THAT APPLIES TO ANY REMODEL OR
 NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR WHICH THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION WAS SUBMITTED AFTER 6/29/14, AND THE TOTAL
 PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COSTS ARE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN
 $750,000 WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH THIS ORDINANCE.
 PER CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ORDINANCE NO. 4504-14, AND
 CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE V,
 ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION 78-123(A) AND SECTION
 78-126(A), THE ART ASSESSMENT IS 1% OF THE TOTAL
 PROJECT CONSTRUCTION COST.
 PER CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES, ARTICLE
 V, ART IN PUBLIC PLACES, SECTION 78-122, RENOVATION AND
 NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ARE ASSESSED CUMULATIVELY, SO
 THE ART ASSESSMENT WILL BE APPLICABLE TO ALL FUTURE
 PROJECTS.

 15) IN ORDER TO AVOID PAYING DOUBLE, PLEASE PROVIDE A
 COST BREAK DOWN FOR THE ITEMS INCLUDED WITH THIS PERMIT
 THAT DO NOT REQUIRE SEPARATE PERMITS AND FEES. FBC
 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR PERMITTING
 PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE
 TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 SEPARATE PERMITS (APPLICATIONS, PLANS, AND FEES) ARE
 REQUIRED FOR:

 16) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
