 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) NO SITE PLAN SUBMITTED WITH THIS PERMIT. THE
 CONVENIENCE STORE PERMIT 20090083 DOES HAVE A SITE
 PLAN. THE CONCERN IS THE CLOSENESS OF THE EXCAVATION OF
 THE FUEL TANKS AND DEPTH OF THE EXCAVATION OF THE FUEL
 TANKS TO THE FOUNDATION FOR THE FUELING CANOPY.
 2017 FBC-B 1804.1. EXCAVATION NEAR FOUNDATIONS.
 EXCAVATION FOR ANY PURPOSE SHALL NOT REDUCE THE LATERAL
 SUPPORT FROM ANY FOUNDATION OR ADJACENT FOUNDATION
 WITHOUT FIRST UNDERPINNING OR PROTECTING THE FOUNDATION
 AGAINST DETRIMENTAL LATERAL OR VERTICAL MOVEMENT, OR
 BOTH.
  
 2) NOTES ON SHEET CS1-CANOPY STATE SPECIAL INSPECTIONS
 FOR CANOPY FOR BOLTED AND WELDED CONNECTIONS.
 WELDED OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS. THE CONTRACTOR IS
 REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS &
 WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED STANDARDS AT TIME OF
 INSPECTION FOR FIELD WIELDING, ON THE JOB-SITE
 WIELDING. THIRD PARTY CERTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED.
 REPORTS SUBMITTED TO BUILDING INSPECTOR AT TIME OF
 FRAMING INSPECTION.

 SHALL BE PREPARED FOR THE FOUNDATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 GEOTECHNICAL REPORT REFERENCES ABOVE. BO SOILS REPORT
 WAS SUBMITTED.
 QUESTIONABLE SOILS. 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE
 THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE
 SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR
 TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 4) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
