 PLUMBING COMMENTS: DENIED
 A REVIEW OF MINIMUM PLUMBING FIXTURE REQUIREMENTS AS
 REQUIRED BY FBC ACC IS PART OF THE PLUMBING REVIEW
 PROCESS BUT IS TYPICALLY ADDRESSED ON THE ARCHITECTURAL
 PLANS. ANY COMMENTS CONCERNING THESE REQUIREMENTS MUST
 BE SATISFACTORILY ADDRESSED PRIOR TO A PLUMBING REVIEW
 APPROVAL.
  
 1. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE CLEAR FLOOR SPACE FOR
 ALL ACCESSIBLE SINKS; COMPLY WITH FBC ACC 305.3.
  
 2. DETAIL FOR GRAB BARS SHOW 33 INCHES FROM FLOOR TO
 CENTERLINE. PER FBC ACC 609.4, GRAB BARS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN A HORIZONTAL POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM
 AND 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR MEASURED
 TO THE TOP (NOT THE CENTER) OF THE GRIPPING SURFACE.
  
 3. MIRRORS LOCATED ABOVE LAVATORIES OR COUNTERTOPS
 SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE
 REFLECTING SURFACE 40 INCHES (1015 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND. MIRRORS NOT LOCATED ABOVE
 LAVATORIES OR COUNTERTOPS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE
 BOTTOM EDGE OF THE REFLECTING SURFACE 35 INCHES (890
 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND PER FBC
 ACC 603.3.
  
 4. THE WATER CLOSET SHALL BE POSITIONED WITH A WALL OR
 PARTITION TO THE REAR AND TO ONE SIDE. THE CENTERLINE
 OF THE WATER CLOSET SHALL BE 16 INCHES MINIMUM TO 18
 INCHES MAXIMUM FROM THE SIDE WALL OR PARTITION PER FBC
 ACC 604.2.
  
 5. THE REAR WALL GRAB BAR SHALL BE 36 INCHES LONG
 MINIMUM AND EXTEND FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE WATER
 CLOSET 12 INCHES MINIMUM ON ONE SIDE AND 24 INCHES
 MINIMUM ON THE OTHER SIDE PER FBC ACC 604.5.2
  
 6. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1 AND 107.3.5.1.3, PROVIDE
 SANITARY AND WATER RISER DIAGRAMS. SHOW EXISTING
 INFRASTRUCTURE AND NEW PIPING WITH POINTS OF
 CONNECTION. IDENTIFY ALL FIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT
 EXISTING AND NEW.
  
 7. PROVIDE TRAP PRIMER AND DETAIL FOR FLOOR DRAIN(S) TO
 COMPLY WITH FBC PL 1002.4.
  
 8. PER FBC 1212.2.2 AND FBC PL 310.3, WALLS AND
 PARTITIONS WITHIN 2 FEET OF SERVICE SINKS, URINALS AND
 WATER CLOSETS SHALL HAVE A SMOOTH, HARD, NONABSORBENT
 SURFACE, TO A HEIGHT OF NOT LESS THAN 4 FEET (1219 MM)
 ABOVE THE FLOOR, AND EXCEPT FOR STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS,
 THE MATERIALS USED IN SUCH WALLS SHALL BE OF A TYPE
 THAT IS NOT ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY MOISTURE.
 WALLS AND PARTITIONS WITHIN 2 FEET OF SERVICE SINKS
 SHALL HAVE A SMOOTH, HARD, NON-ABSORBENT SURFACE PER
 FBC-BUILDING SEC. 1210.2.2. SECTION 1210.2.2 STIPULATES
 THAT THE MATERIAL BE "HARD." THE INTENT OF THIS SECTION
 IS THAT THE SURROUNDING MATERIAL SHOULD NOT BE OF A
 TYPE THAT IS EASILY DAMAGED SUCH THAT THE MATERIAL
 COULD BECOME ABSORBENT AND THUS, NOT READILY CLEANABLE
 AND SANITIZED. PAINTED DRYWALL, EVEN WHERE COATED WITH
 HIGHLY DURABLE PAINTS, DOES NOT MEET THE INTENT OF
 SECTION 1210.2.2. THE TYPICAL MATERIALS USED FOR THIS
 APPLICATION ARE CERAMIC TILE, FIBERGLASS REINFORCED
 PLASTIC (FRP) PANELS, PHENOLIC PANELS, LAMINATED
 PLASTIC PANELS, PAINTED STEEL AND STAINLESS STEEL.
  
 9. SUBMIT A SLAB REPAIR DETAIL FOR REVIEW AND ONCE
 APPROVED HAVE TWO COPIES AT THE JOB SITE. SHOW THE
 WIDTH OF THE REPAIR, THE MINIMUM THICKNESS OF THE
 CONCRETE TO BE REPLACED, AND THE PSI OF THE CONCRETE.
 SHOW THE SIZE AND LENGTH OF THE DOWELS, THE MINIMUM
 EMBEDMENT DEPTH INTO THE EXISTING SLAB, THE ANCHORING
 MATERIAL FOR THE DOWELS AND THE SPACING OF THE DOWELS
 ON CENTER. THE REPAIR SHALL ALSO INCLUDE TERMITE
 TREATMENT OF THE SOIL AND THE REQUIRED VAPOR BARRIER
 OVER WELL-COMPACTED SOIL. A COPY OF THE TERMITE
 CERTIFICATE SHALL BE ONSITE FOR A FINAL INSPECTION.
  
  
 10. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE FIXTURE SCHEDULE
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH FBC PL TABLE 403.1, OCCUPANCY
 BUSINESS. INDICATE WHAT IS REQUIRED AND THEN WHAT IS
 SUPPLIED. THIS IS TO INCLUDE WATER CLOSETS, LAVATORIES,
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS AND SERVICE SINK(S). SEE THE
 FOLLOWING COMMENTS CONCERNING DRINKING FOUNTAINS AND
 SERVICE SINK(S).
  
  
 11. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE TWO (2) DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS TO COMPLY WITH FBC PL TABLE 403.1, OCCUPANCY
 BUSINESS OR PROVIDE DRAWING WITH LOCATION OF EXISTING
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS IN ADJOINING AREA WITHIN A DISTANCE
 OF TRAVEL OF 500 FEET OF THE MOST REMOTE LOCATION IN
 THE TENANT SPACE AND NOT MORE THAN ONE STORY ABOVE OR
 BELOW THE TENANT SPACE; DRINKING FOUNTAINS SHALL BE
 LOCATED ON AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE PER FBC PL 403.5.
 TWO (2) DRINKING FOUNTAINS ARE REQUIRED; AN ACCESSIBLE
 BI-LEVEL DRINKING FOUNTAIN CONSTITUTES TWO (2) DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS.
  
 12. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, PROVIDE ONE (1) SERVICE SINK
 TO COMPLY WITH FBC PL TABLE 403.1, OCCUPANCY BUSINESS
 OR PROVIDE DRAWING WITH LOCATION OF THE SAME IN
 ADJOINING AREA WHICH WILL SERVICE THE FACILITY. THERE
 APPEARS TO BE A SERVICE SINK IN THE JANITOR RM 102, BUT
 THERE IS NO SANITARY PIPING SHOWN. CLARIFY.
  
  
 13. PER WPB FBC 107.2.1, INDICATE ON THE PLUMBING
 SCHEDULE THE APPLICATION OF FIXTURE P-6, OATEY 38808
 AND PROVIDE NOTE IF A WATER HAMMER ARRESTOR IS INCLUDED
 AND IF LEAD FREE.
  
  
 A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW COULD NOT BE ACCOMPLISHED AT
 THIS TIME. PLEASE RESUBMIT CLEARLY LEGIBLE PLANS AND A
 RESPONSE NARRATIVE ADDRESSING THE PLUMBING COMMENTS
