 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA

 BOLTED CONNECTIONS. THE SHEET S0.0 STRUCTURAL NOTES
 REQUIRE SPECIAL INSPECTIONS DONE BY 3RD PARTY
 CERTIFICATION, FOR WELDED & BOLTED CONNECTIONS. WELDED
 OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO
 PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR
 PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THE REFERENCED STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION FOR
 FIELD WIELDING, ON THE JOB-SITE WIELDING. THIRD PARTY
 CERTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED. REPORTS SUBMITTED TO
 BUILDING INSPECTOR AT TIME OF FRAMING INSPECTION.

 HEIGHT & EXPOSURE. PROVIDE THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT FOR THE
 BUILDING.. ASCE 7-10 TABLE 30.3.1.
  
 3) THE STRUCTURAL SHEET S0.0 PROVIDE A COMPONENTS AND
 CLADDING CHART FOR ROOF ZONES 1, 2, & 3. THE CHART NOR
 THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA DOES NOT INDICATE THE MEAN
 ROOF HEIGHT, NOR DOES THE COMPONENTS AND CLADDING CHART
 INDICATE AT WHAT SQUARE FEET THESE PRESSURES ARE GIVEN?
 PRESSURES GIVEN FOR COMPONENTS & CLADDING FOR ROOFING
 MATERIALS ARE USUALLY TAKEN FOR 10 SQUARE FEET, WORST
 CASE SCENARIO.

 BOTH SHOW A COMPOSITE ROOF DECK. DISCREPANCY IN PLANS.

 4B) SHEET M7.2 NOTE # 9 STATES FOR ANCHORING PROVIDE
 NUMBER & SIZE OF FASTENERS/ ATTACHMENTS AS RECOMMENDED
 BY THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER. NO CALCULATIONS WERE
 PROVIDED BY THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER FOR THE ROOF TOP
 EQUIPMENT.
  
 4C) THEE IS A SPECIAL NOTE ON THE PLANS REFERENCING
 SECTION 1620 OF THE 2017 FBC-B. THE NOTE REFERENCING TO
 CODE SECTION 1620 IS WITHIN THE HIGH VELOCITY HURRICANE
 ZONES BROWARD & MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AND UN-ENFORCEABLE
 ELSEWHERE IN FLORIDA COUNTIES. IF THE DESIGNER WISHES
 TO ENFORCE IT THAT IS FINE BUT AS THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT WE CANNOT REQUIRE ENFORCEMENT.
  
 4D) THE ROOF STAND IS IDENTIFIED AS NOA: 17-1218.02.
 PLEASE PROVIDE THE MIAMI-DADE NOA. THE ROOF TOP A/C
 STAND PRODUCT APPROVALS, TO BE REVIEWED BY THE DESIGNER
 OF RECORD. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS
 CALCULATING THE AREA (SIDE VIEW) OF THE ROOF TOP
 COMPRESSORS, CONFIGURATION ON STAND, THE MEAN ROOF
 HEIGHT OF THE STAND AND COMPRESSORS, WEIGHT, CIRCLED
 THE DESIGN PARAMETERS IN THE TABLES, ANCHORS AND UPLIFT
 VERSES MOMENT FOR THE UNIT TO THE STAND AND THE STAND
 TO THE ROOF. THE PRODUCT APPROVAL IS TO BE REVIEWED BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD, APPROVED BEFORE SUBMISSION TO
 THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT
 2017 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS.
  
 4E) W. P. B. 107.3.4. PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS
 WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE RULE
 61G20 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
 FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
 SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS,
 SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..

 ALL ABOVE 16 FEET ABOVE GRADE? 2017 FBC-M 306.5
 EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED
 STRUCTURES.
 WHERE EQUIPMENT REQUIRING ACCESS OR APPLIANCES ARE
 LOCATED ON AN ELEVATED STRUCTURE OR THE ROOF OF A
 BUILDING SUCH THAT PERSONNEL WILL HAVE TO CLIMB HIGHER
 THAN 16 FEET (4877 MM) ABOVE GRADE TO ACCESS SUCH
 EQUIPMENT OR APPLIANCES, AN INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR MEANS
 OF ACCESS SHALL BE PROVIDED. SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT
 REQUIRE CLIMBING OVER OBSTRUCTIONS GREATER THAN 30
 INCHES (762 MM) IN HEIGHT OR WALKING ON ROOFS HAVING A
 SLOPE GREATER THAN 4 UNITS VERTICAL IN 12 UNITS
 HORIZONTAL (33-PERCENT SLOPE). SUCH ACCESS SHALL NOT
 REQUIRE THE USE OF PORTABLE LADDERS. WHERE ACCESS
 INVOLVES CLIMBING OVER PARAPET WALLS, THE HEIGHT SHALL
 BE MEASURED TO THE TOP OF THE PARAPET WALL.

 BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN A HORIZONTAL
 POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR MEASURED TO THE TOP OF THE GRIPPING
 SURFACE, NOT CENTERLINE. SHEETS A-201 WOMENS RESTROOM &
 SHEET A-202 MENS RESTROOM BOTH SHOW THE GRAB BARS
 MEASURED TO THE CENTERLINE NOT THE TOP OF THE BAR THE

 6B)(1) 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE. 211.2 MINIMUM
 NUMBER. NO FEWER THAN TWO DRINKING FOUNTAINS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED. ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY WITH 602.1
 THROUGH 602.6 AND ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY
 WITH 602.7.
  
 6B)(2) PROTRUDING OBJECTS 307.2 PROTRUSION LIMITS
 307.2. OBJECTS WITH LEADING EDGES MORE THAN 27 INCHES
 AND NOT MORE THAN 80 INCHES ABOVE THE FLOOR SHALL NOT
 PROTRUDE MORE THAN 4 INCHES HORIZONTALLY IN TO THE
 CIRCULATION PATH.

 SEATING ON THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING.
 IN MOST CASES THE ACCESSIBLE SEATING MEETS THE
 ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENT OF DISPERSION OF THE
 ACCESSIBLE SEATING WITH THE EXCEPTION OF BAR 003
 SEATING ON THE EXTERIOR PORTION OF THE BAR.
 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE DISPERSED
 THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY CONTAINING DINING
 SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES.
  
 7A) 206.2.5 206.2.5 RESTAURANTS AND CAFETERIAS. IN
 RESTAURANTS AND CAFETERIAS, AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE SHALL
 BE PROVIDED TO ALL DINING AREAS, INCLUDING RAISED OR

 7B) 902.1 .DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3. ADVISORY 902.1 GENERAL.
 DINING SURFACES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, BARS,
 TABLES, LUNCH COUNTERS, AND BOOTHS.

 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR

 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
