 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET 1 A1.01. THE 2 EXISTING RESTROOMS ARE NOT
 DIMENSIONED. THEY MAY OR MAY NOT COMPLY WITH THE 2017
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION CLEARANCES AT WATER
 CLOSETS. 604.3 CLEARANCE. CLEARANCES AROUND THE WATER
 CLOSETS AND IN TOILET COMPARTMENTS SHALL COMPLY WITH
 604.3.
 604.3.1. SIZE. CLEARANCE AROUND A WATER CLOSET SHALL BE
 60 INCHES MINIMUM MEASURED PERPENDICULAR FROM THE SIDE
 WALL AND 56 INCHES MINIMUM PERPENDICULAR FROM THE REAR
 WALL. NOTE THE MINIMUM BACK WALL MEASUREMENT SHOULD BE
 7 FOOT 1 INCH.
  
 1A) UNDER THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II
 ALTERATIONS, SECTION 806.1 A BUILDING, FACILITY, OR
 ELEMENT THAT IS ALTERED SHALL COMPLY WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE- ACCESSIBILITY.
 IN THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE IT REFERS YOU TO
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST.
  
 1B) DISPROPORTIONATE COST. PLEASE REVIEW HOW YOU ARE TO
 MEET DISPROPORTIONATE COST. EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR LETTERHEAD NEED TO SHOW
 HOW THEY ARE GOING TO SPEND THE 20% DISPROPORTIONATE
 FUNDS LISTED FOR EACH ELEMENT WHERE THE FUNDS ARE BEING
 SPENT AND IN THE ORDER LISTED IN SECTION 202.4.1

 1D) IN THE HALL CORRIDOR THERE IS A NEW BI-FOLD DOOR
 MARKED # 5. THERE APPEARS TO BE A SINGLE WATER FOUNTAIN
 THAT THE BI-FOLD DOOR SWINGS INTO THE CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE.
 1E) 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE. 211.2 MINIMUM NUMBER.
 NO FEWER THAN TWO DRINKING FOUNTAINS SHALL BE PROVIDED.
 ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY WITH 602.1 THROUGH
 602.6 AND ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY WITH
 602.7.
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 307.2
 PROTRUSION LIMITS. OBJECTS WITH LEADING EDGES MORE THAN
 27 INCHES AND NOT MORE THAN 80 INCHES ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR SHALL PROTRUDE 4 INCHES OR LESS MAXIMUM
 HORIZONTALLY INTO THE CIRCULATION PATH. SKIRTS MAYBE
 REQUIRED TO BE APPLIED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE DRINKING
 FOUNTAIN.
  
 1F) 606.2 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE DRINKING FOUNTAINS. A CLEAR
 FLOOR SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305, POSITIONED FOR A
 FORWARD APPROACH, AND KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE COMPLYING
 WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 1G) THE BREAK ROOM ALSO SHOWS AS EXISTING, PLEASE SHOW
 HOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 606 SINKS. 2017
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 606.3 HEIGHT. LAVATORIES
 AND SINKS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE FRONT OF THE
 HIGHER OF THE RIM OR COUNTER SURFACE 34 INCHES (865 MM)
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 1H) THE PLANS SHOW A RECEPTION DESK PLEASE PROVIDE HOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH SECTIONS:
  
 CHECK WRITING SURFACES. 2017 ACCESS. CODE 904.3.3 CHECK
 WRITING SURFACES. WHERE PROVIDED, CHECK WRITING
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.3. 902.3HEIGHT. THE TOPS
 OF WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES (710 MM) MINIMUM
 AND 34 INCHES (865 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR
 OR GROUND.
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE ACCESS. CODE 305.5 POSITION.
 UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE
 SHALL BE POSITIONED FOR EITHER A FORWARD OR PARALLEL
 APPROACH TO AN ELEMENT.

 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
