 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) THE SUBMITTED VALUE FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS LOW
 FOR THE FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF THIS PROJECT
 AND REQUIRED ENGINEERING.
 2017 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATIVE CODE SECTION 109.3*
 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION.
 IF, IN THE OPINION OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL, THE
 CLAIMED VALUATION OF BUILDING, ALTERATION, STRUCTURE,
 ELECTRICAL, GAS, MECHANICAL, OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS
 APPEARS TO BE UNDER ESTIMATED ON THE APPLICATION, THE
 PERMIT SHALL BE DENIED. FOR PERMITTING PURPOSES,
 VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS SHALL BE TOTAL
 REPLACEMENT PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE THE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE
 STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR
 FINISHES, NORMAL SITE WORK (EXCAVATION AND BACKFILL FOR
 BUILDINGS), ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES, MARKETING
 COST, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY LAND VALUE.
 VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST PUBLISHED
 DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS SERVICES
 (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.) WITH REGIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
 FOR LOCATION AS PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL CODE
 CONGRESS.
  
 2) THE SUBMITTED SKETCH OF WHAT APPEARS TO BE A
 MID-LANDING, IS THE ONLY DOCUMENT SUBMITTED FOR PLANS.
 THERE IS NO SITE PLAN SHOWING THE LOCATION OF THE FIRE
 ESCAPE, DISTANCE BETWEEN BUILDINGS, NOR IS THERE AN
 ELEVATION VIEW SHOWING THE LOCATION OF THIS MID-LANDING
 HEIGHT ABOVE GRADE OR CLEARANCE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE
 WALL BRACE LOCATED BELOW THE LANDING. THE PLANS ARE
 ALSO SILENT AS TO WHAT ANCHORS ARE GOING TO BE USED IN
 THE INSTALLATION OR IF THE WALL IS TERRA-COTTA WALL
 SYSTEM COMMONLY USED IN THAT TIME PERIOD OR OTHER
 MATERIAL? THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE EXISTING GUARDRAIL
 AT THE PROPOSED LANDING? THE PROPOSED DESIGNER ALSO HAS
 NOT INCLUDED ANY CALCULATIONS FOR THE LOADS TO BE
 CARRIED BY THE NON-CEMETERY LOADING OF THE WALL
 BRACING. CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTORS CAN ONLY OCCUR ON
 DRAWINGS FOR ONE AND TWO FAMILY DWELLINGS AND INTERIOR
 WORK THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING.
 107.4.3.2 CERTIFICATION BY CONTRACTORS AND F. S.
 471.003?QUALIFICATIONS FOR PRACTICE ENGINEERING ;(1) NO
 PERSON OTHER THAN A DULY LICENSED ENGINEER SHALL
 PRACTICE ENGINEERING.
  
 3) THE SUBMITTED SKETCH SHOWS BOTH BOLTED AND WELDED
 CONNECTIONS, PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH WELDED OR
 BOLTED CONNECTIONS. THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO
 PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR
 PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THE REFERENCED STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION. THIRD
 PARTY CERTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED.

 WITH THE CALCULATION FOR THE FIRE ESCAPE AND LIVE LOADS
 FOR 100 PSF 2017 FBC-B TABLE 1607.1(13) FIRE ESCAPES.
  
 5) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
 PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
