 RADIANT FLUX FOR FLOOR COVERING SYSTEMS TESTED TO ASTM
 E648. PLEASE NOTE #3 . THE TEST WE ARE ASKING FOR IS
 FOR THE FLOOR INSULATION UNDER THE FINISH FLOOR
 PRODUCT, NOT FOR FLOOR FINISHES.
  
 FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2017 603.1. EXCEPTION 2. INSULATION
 INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID DECKING
 WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200.
  
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 TYPE III-TYPE V CONSTRUCTION:
 FBC-B-2017 720.2 CONCEALED INSTALLATION. INSULATING
 MATERIALS, WHERE CONCEALED AS INSTALLED IN BUILDINGS OF
 ANY TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION, SHALL HAVE A FLAME SPREAD
 INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 25 AND A SMOKE-DEVELOPED INDEX
 OF NOT MORE THAN 450.
  
 3) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
 PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
