 REQUIRED STRETCHER. PROVIDE A DIMENSIONED ELEVATOR CAR
 FLOOR PLAN SHOWING THE STRETCHER CLEARANCES. (ORIGINAL
 COMMENT FOLLOWS.) FBC 3002.4 REQUIRES ANY BUILDING THAT
 IS MORE THAN THREE STORIES HIGH OR IN WHICH THE
 VERTICAL DISTANCE BETWEEN THE BOTTOM TERMINAL LANDING
 AND THE TOP TERMINAL LANDING EXCEEDS 25 FEET TO BE
 CONSTRUCTED TO CONTAIN AT LEAST ONE PASSENGER ELEVATOR
 THAT IS OPERATIONAL FOR BUILDING OCCUPANTS AND FIRE
 DEPARTMENT ACCESS TO ALL FLOORS. THE ELEVATOR CAR SHALL
 BE OF A SIZE AND ARRANGEMENT TO ACCOMMODATE AN
 AMBULANCE STRETCHER 24 INCHES BY 76 INCHES WITH NOT
 LESS THAN 5-INCH RADIUS CORNERS, IN THE HORIZONTAL,
 OPEN POSITION AND SHALL BE IDENTIFIED BY THE
 INTERNATIONAL SYMBOL FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
 (STAR OF LIFE).
  
 6) NOT ADDRESSED. THIS ITEM CAN BE ADDRESSED WITH THE
 SHELL PERMIT. (ORIGINAL COMMENT FOLLOWS.) THE TRASH
 CHUTE DISCHARGE ROOM IS REQUIRED TO BE SEPARATED BY
 FIRE BARRIERS WITH A FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING NOT LESS
 THAN THE REQUIRED FIRE RATING OF THE SHAFT ENCLOSURE.

 PLEASE REVIEW THE ELEVATIONS AROUND THE EXTERIOR OF THE
 BUILDING AND COMPARE THEM WITH THE FLOOR ELEVATION
 (11.97') OF THE BUILDING TO MAKE SURE THAT THE EXITS
 DISCHARGE AT GRADE AND THE ELEVATIONS AND SLOPES OF
 LANDINGS AND WALK WAYS WILL MEET THE RUNNING SLOPE AND
 CROSS SLOPE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE SECTION 403.
  
 9) THIS WILL BE A PROVISO ITEM. (ORIGINAL COMMENT
 FOLLOWS.) THIS FOUNDATION PERMIT IS BEING APPLIED FOR
 UNDER SECTION 105.13 OF THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH
 AMENDMENTS TO THE 2017 FBC. THE HOLDER OF THIS
 FOUNDATION PERMIT SHALL PROCEED AT THE HOLDER'S OWN
 RISK WITH THE BUILDING OPERATION AND WITHOUT ASSURANCE
 THAT A PERMIT FOR THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE WILL BE GRANTED.
  
 10) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
