 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 39) SHOW COMPLIANCE FBC ACCESSIBILITY SECTION 242 FOR
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRY INTO THE POOL OR SPECIFY ON THE PLANS
 WHY IT IS NOT REQUIRED. COMMUNITY POOLS THAT ARE
 ASSOCIATED WITH A PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY THAT DO
 NOT RECEIVE GOVERNMENTAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR
 SPONSORSHIP AND ARE LIMITED TO THE EXCLUSIVE OF
 RESIDENTS AND THEIR GUESTS ARE NOT COVERED BY THE ADA
 ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING PROVISIONS FOR
 POOL LIFTS OR SLOPED ENTRIES. IF A SWIMMING POOL
 LOCATED IN A RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY IS MADE AVAILABLE TO
 THE PUBLIC FOR RENTAL OR USE IT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLY
 WITH TITLE II OF THE ADA. SPECIFY ON THE PLANS THE
 FORMER OR SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE LATTER STATEMENTS.

 40) SEPARATE PERMITS, REVIEWS AND FEES ARE REQUIRED FOR
 SOME ITEMS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE VALUE FOR
 THIS PROJECT. ITEMS SUCH AS FIRE ALARM, FIRE SPRINKLER,
 LOW VOLTAGE, LANDSCAPING, IRRIGATION AND ALL ITEMS
 OTHER THAN BUILDING, MECHANICAL, ELECTRIC AND PLUMBING.
 PLEASE PROVIDE A COST BREAKDOWN SO THAT WE CAN DEDUCT
 THESE ITEMS FROM THE PERMIT VALUE SO THAT YOU WILL NOT
 BE CHARGED TWICE FOR THE SAME ITEM.
  
 41) THE REST./RETAIL AREAS ON THE GROUND FLOOR HAVE
 DOORS THAT OPEN INTO THE PARKING GARAGE. IT APPEARS
 THAT THESE ARE MEANT TO BE REQUIRED EXITS. TABLE 508.4
 REQUIRES A ONE HOUR FIRE SEPARATION BETWEEN S-2 AND M
 OR B OCCUPANCIES IN A SPRINKLERED BUILDING. IF THESE
 ARE REQUIRED EXITS THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE
 CONNECTED TO A ONE HOUR RATED CORRIDOR SEPARATING THEM
 FROM THE PARKING GARAGE AND DISCHARGING TO THE EXTERIOR
 OF THE BUILDING.
  
 42) WHEN RESUBMITTING, IT IS HELPFUL TO PROVIDE A
 RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH ITEM ALONG WITH THE
 CITY RE-SUBMITTAL FORM.
