 THIS CODE AND THAT HAS AN INSURED VALUE OF $750,000 OR
 MORE, OR, IF THE SITE BUILT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED
 RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE IS UNINSURED OR FOR WHICH
 DOCUMENTATION OF INSURED VALUE IS NOT PRESENTED, HAS A
 JUST VALUATION FOR THE STRUCTURE FOR PURPOSES OF AD
 VALOREM TAXATION OF $750,000 OR MORE; OPENING
 PROTECTIONS AS REQUIRED WITHIN THIS CODE OR FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, RESIDENTIAL FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION SHALL
 BE PROVIDED.
 -PLEASE PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION THAT HOME HAS PERMITTED
 OPENING PROTECTION, OR SUPPLY DOCUMENTATION TO COMPLY
 WITH 105.15.
  
 2) 908.8 FBC[R]IF HOME >300,000.00 VALUE THAN STRAPPING
 NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED.
 908.8 FBC[R]WHEN A ROOF COVERING ON AN EXISTING
 SITE-BUILT-SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE IS
 REMOVED AND REPLACED ON A BUILDING THAT IS LOCATED IN
 THE WIND BORNE DEBRIS REGION AS DEFINED IN THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING AND THAT HAS AN INSURED VALUE
 OF $300,000 OR MORE OR, IF THE BUILDING IS UNINSURED OR
 FOR WHICH DOCUMENTATION OF INSURED VALUE IS NOT
 PRESENTED, HAS A JUST VALUATION FOR THE STRUCTURE FOR
 PURPOSES OF AD VALOREM TAXATION OF $300,000 OR MORE:
 (A) ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS SHALL BE IMPROVED AS
 REQUIRED BY SECTION R908.8.1
 (B) MANDATED RETROFITS OF THE ROOF-TO-WALL CONNECTION
 SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED BEYOND A 15 PERCENT INCREASE IN
 THE COST OF RE-ROOFING. EXCEPTION: SINGLE-FAMILY
 RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES PERMITTED SUBJECT TO THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE ARE NOT REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THIS
 SECTION.
 -PLEASE PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION THAT THIS HAS BEEN DONE,
 OR SUPPLY DOCUMENTATION TO COMPLY WITH 908.8.
  
 4) PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE
 ATTACHMENT OF ROOFING TILE.
  
 5) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR FLAT ROOF IS ONLY THE COVER
 PAGES. WE ALSO NEED THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WITH
 THE SYSTEM SELECTED THAT WILL BE INSTALLED (WE DON'T
 NEED ALL PAGES, JUST SHEETS 1-4 AND THE SHEET THAT
 CONTAINS YOUR SYSTEM). ALSO, REVIEW SHEET #3 TO SEE IF
 ENGINEERING IS NEEDED FOR MECHANICALLY ATTACHED
 COMPONENTS.
  
 6) PROVIDE THE AMOUNT OF ROOF AREA FOR FLAT AND TILE
 WITH ROOF PITCHES AS WELL.
  
 7) ALSO, THERE IS AN EXPIRED PERMIT ON THAT ADDRESS FOR
 MECHANICAL CHANGE OUT. PERMIT 13070195. PLEASE HAVE THE
 OWNER CONTACT THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT TO GET THIS
 PERMIT CLOSED OUT.
