 TITLEBLOCK. WHEN VIEWING THIS ADDRESS ON GOOGLE MAPS
 THERE APPEARS TO BE 4 TENANTS A-D. THE DEMOLITION PLAN
 IT WOULD APPEAR THE EXISTING TIRE SHOP IS GOING TO
 REMAIN. HOW WILL THE TENANT ADDRESSES BE IDENTIFIED?
 2017 FBC-B 501.2 ADDRESS IDENTIFICATION. NEW AND
 EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH APPROVED

 IS REQUIRED, IT APPEARS THERE IS A TYPO. AN EXISTING

 EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1003.2.13 OF THE
 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (2000 EDITION AND 2001
 SUPPLEMENT) OR SECTION 1007 OF THE INTERNATIONAL
 BUILDING CODE (2003 EDITION).
 2003 IBC-B 1007.1 WHERE MORE THAN ONE MEANS OF EGRESS
 IS REQUIRED BY SECTIONS 1014.1 OR 1018.1 FROM ANY
 ACCESSIBLE SPACE, EACH ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE SPACE
 SHALL BE SERVED BY NOT LESS THAN TWO MEANS OF EGRESS.

 TRANSITION (DROPPED CURB/ CURB CUT) IS MADE BETWEEN THE
 SIDEWALK AND ACCESS AISLE. 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION 406 CURB RAMPS. THE ACCESSIBILITY DETAIL SHEET
 DOES NOT PROVIDE CODE COMPLIANCE IN ANY OF THE DETAILS,
 NEITHER.

 AND 423 SQ. FT. ON THE INTERIOR SIDE OF THE NEW COOLER
 AND BEER CAVE. PLEASE BE AWARE OF SECTION 2603.4.1.3.
 THAT LIMITS THE AGGREGATE AREA OF WALK IN COOLERS TO
 400 SQ. FT. IN NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDINGS. PLEASE BE
 AWARE THERE ARE OTHER CRITERIA THAT HAS TO BE PROVIDED
 AS WELL. A SEPARATE PERMIT REVIEW AND ASSOCIATED FEES
 WILL BE REQUIRED.

 RESTROOM DETAIL # 1 SHOWS THE HIGH/ LOW DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS BUT THERE IS NO ELEVATION VIEW TO INDICATE
 THE TYPE OF DRINKING FOUNTAIN AND COMPLIANCE WITH
 PROTRUDING OBJECTS AS FOUND ON SHEET A1.2. THE ISSUE,
 MAYBE WITH THE HIGH DRINKING FOUNTAIN IS A SKIRT MAYBE
 NEED TO BE ADDED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE ENCLOSURE FOR
 COMPLIANCE WITH PROTRUDING OBJECTS FROM THE WALL AND
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION
 307.2 PROTRUSION LIMITS. OBJECTS WITH THE LEADING EDGE
 MORE THAN 27 INCHES AND NOT MORE THAN 80 INCHES ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND SHALL PROTRUDE 4 INCHES
 MAXIMUM HORIZONTALLY INTO THE CIRCULATION PATH.
  
 7)2ND ROUND OF COMMENTS. SHEET A2.4, M1.1 & S102 ROOF
 PLANS ALL SHOW NEW ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT. SHEET M1.1 SHOWS
 THE BEER CAVE BACKSTOCK CONDENSER WITHIN 10 FEET OF THE
 ROOF EDGE.
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC-B:
 2017 FBC-B 1013.6 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. GUARDS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED WHERE APPLIANCES, EQUIPMENT, FANS, ROOF HATCH
 OPENINGS OR OTHER COMPONENTS THAT REQUIRE SERVICE ARE
 LOCATED WITHIN 10 FEET (3048 MM) OF A ROOF EDGE OR OPEN
 SIDE OF A WALKING SURFACE AND SUCH EDGE OR OPEN SIDE IS
 LOCATED MORE THAN 30 INCHES ABOVE THE FLOOR, ROOF OR
 GRADE BELOW. THE GUARD SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED SO AS TO
 PREVENT THE PASSAGE OF A SPHERE 21 INCHES IN DIAMETER.
 THE GUARD SHALL EXTEND NOT LESS THAN 30 INCHES BEYOND
 EACH END OF SUCH APPLIANCE, EQUIPMENT, FAN OR
 COMPONENT.
  
 8) 2ND ROUND OF COMMENTS. THE PLANS ELEVATIONS WILL
 NEED TO SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 2017 FBC-M
 306.5. EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES ON ROOFS OR ELEVATED
 STRUCTURES. WHERE EQUIPMENT REQUIRING ACCESS OR
 APPLIANCES ARE LOCATED ON AN ELEVATED STRUCTURE OR ROOF
 OF A BUILDING SUCH AS PERSONNEL WILL HAVE TO CLIMB
 HIGHER THAN 16 FEET ABOVE GRADE TO ACCESS SUCH
 EQUIPMENT OR APPLIANCES, AN INTERIOR OR EXTERIOR MEANS
 OF EGRESS SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 9) 2ND ROUND OF COMMENTS. SHEETS A2.4 & M1.1 WILL NEED
 TO SHOW COMPLIANCE FOR ROOF TOP A/C CONDENSER STANDS
 WITH COMPLIANCE WHERE ROOFING MATERIALS EXTEND BENEATH
 THE UNIT, ON RAISED EQUIPMENT SUPPORTS PROVIDING A
 MINIMUM CLEARANCE HEIGHT IN ACCORDANCE WITH TABLE
 1510.10 OF THE 2017 FBC-B.
  
 10) 2ND ROUND OF COMMENTS. ROOF TOP CONDENSING STANDS
 WILL NEED TO BE REVIEWED BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD.
 PLEASE IDENTIFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS CALCULATING
 THE AREA (SIDE VIEW) OF THE ROOF TOP COMPRESSORS,
 CONFIGURATION ON STAND, THE MEAN ROOF HEIGHT OF THE
 STAND AND COMPRESSORS, WEIGHT, CIRCLED THE DESIGN
 PARAMETERS IN THE TABLES, ANCHORS AND UPLIFT VERSES
 MOMENT FOR THE UNIT TO THE STAND AND THE STAND TO THE
 ROOF. THE PRODUCT APPROVAL IS TO BE REVIEWED BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD, APPROVED BEFORE SUBMISSION TO THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
 LATERAL FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM. FOR ALL ROOF TOP
 EQUIPMENT, CURBS, FANS OR A/C STANDS, AND OR VENTS,
 DETAILED ATTACHMENT TO THE ROOF FRAMING & DECK AS WELL
 AS FROM THE CURB OR ROOF STAND TO THE EQUIPMENT ABOVE.
 2017 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS.
  
 11) 2ND REQUEST. THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER HAS A THROUGH
 THE ROOF HVAC DETAIL FOR THE RE-ENFORCING OF THE CUT
 HOLE THROUGH THE ROOF. THE ARCHITECT NOW HAS A DETAIL
 ON SHEET A2.4 SHOWING A SIMILAR DETAIL BUT ANCHORING
 THE NEW ROOF TOP CURB ONLY THROUGH THE B METAL DECK AND
 NOT TRANSFERRING THE LOADS TO BE RESISTED TO THE BAR
 JOIST PART OF THE MWFRS (PART OF THE MAIN WIND FORCE
 RESISTING SYSTEM). WHO IS GOING TO WITHDRAW THEIR
 DETAIL? THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD IS THE BELOW IS A NOTICE
 FOR THE CONTRACTOR TO HAVE FIELD WELDED STEEL
 CONNECTIONS, TO HAVE A COPY OF THE WIELDERS
 CERTIFICATIONS ON HAND AT TIME OF INSPECTION.
  
 NOTICE ONLY.SHEET S201 SHOWS WELDED CONNECTIONS TO THE
 BAR JOIST, STIFFENERS, ADDITIONAL STEEL FRAMING AROUND
 NEW ROOF TOP OPENINGS. WELDED OR BOLTED CONNECTIONS.
 THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE
 SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE
 QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED
 STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY.
