 - STATE ON PLANS THAT THIS IS A LEVEL 2 ALTERATION

 - STATE ON PLANS WHAT THE EXISTING SQUARE FOOTAGE WAS.
 (CARPORT NON-CONDITIONED) AND WHAT THE SQUARE FOOTAGE
 IS NOW (CONDITIONED HABITABLE SPACE)
  
 6) R314.3 FBC[R] LOCATION. SMOKE ALARMS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

 VICINITY OF THE BEDROOMS.

 BEING MET FOR ALTERATIONS. R- VALUE OF INSULATION IN

 8) 310.1 FBC[R]EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING
 REQUIRED. BASEMENTS, HABITABLE ATTICS AND EVERY
 SLEEPING ROOM SHALL HAVE NOT LESS THAN ONE OPERABLE
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING. WHERE BASEMENTS
 CONTAIN ONE OR MORE SLEEPING ROOMS, AN EMERGENCY ESCAPE
 AND RESCUE OPENING SHALL BE REQUIRED IN EACH SLEEPING
 ROOM. EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL OPEN
 DIRECTLY INTO A PUBLIC WAY, OR TO A YARD OR COURT THAT
 OPENS TO A PUBLIC WAY.
  
 310.2.1 FBC[R] MINIMUM OPENING AREA EMERGENCY AND
 ESCAPE RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A NET CLEAR OPENING
 OF NOT LESS THAN 5.7 SQUARE FEET. THE NET CLEAR OPENING
 DIMENSIONS REQUIRED BY THIS SECTION SHALL BE OBTAINED
 BY THE NORMAL OPERATION OF THE EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENING FROM THE INSIDE. THE NET CLEAR HEIGHT
 OPENING SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 24 INCHES AND THE NET
 CLEAR WIDTH SHALL BE NOT LESS THAN 20 INCHES.
 - MARK ON PLANS BEDROOM WINDOWS TO MEET EGRESS
 REQUIREMENTS.
  
 9) 318.1 FBC[R] TERMITE PROTECTION. TERMITE PROTECTION
 SHALL BE PROVIDED BY REGISTERED TERMITICIDES, INCLUDING
 SOIL APPLIED PESTICIDES, BAITING SYSTEMS, AND
 PESTICIDES APPLIED TO WOOD, OR OTHER APPROVED METHODS
 OF TERMITE PROTECTION LABELED FOR USE AS A PREVENTATIVE
 TREATMENT TO NEW CONSTRUCTION. SEE SECTION 202,
 ?REGISTERED TERMITICIDE.? UPON COMPLETION OF THE
 APPLICATION OF THE TERMITE PROTECTIVE TREATMENT, A
 CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SHALL BE ISSUED TO THE
 BUILDING DEPARTMENT BY THE LICENSED PEST CONTROL
 COMPANY THAT CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT: ?THE

 FRAMING ON THE EXTERIOR OF A BUILDING HAVING A
