 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET 1.6A/ LIFE SAFETY SHEET:
  
 1A) THE LIFE SAFETY NOTE # 11 INDICATES A SIGN WILL BE
 PLACED AT ENTRY STATING A MAXIMUM OF 88 OCCUPANTS. WHEN
 TOTALING THE INTERIOR SEATING, KITCHEN HELP AND OFFICE
 I GET 145 TOTAL OCCUPANTS FOR THE INTERIOR WITH ANOTHER
 24 SEASONAL SEATING. 2017 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1OF THE
 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE SECTION 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 1B) THE AMOUNT AND LOCATION OF THE EMERGENCY LIGHT
 BETWEEN THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN AND 2.1E VARY BETWEEN THE
 PLANS, IT WOULD APPEAR ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN
 ADDITIONAL EMERGENCY BATTERY BACKUP LIGHTS ARE
 REQUIRED. 2017 FBC-B SECTION 1008.3.1. IN THE EVENT OF
 POWER SUPPLY FAILURE IN ROOMS AND SPACES THAT REQUIRE
 TWO OR MORE MEANS OF EGRESS, AN EMERGENCY ELECTRICAL
 SYSTEM SHALL AUTOMATICALLY ILLUMINATE ALL OF THE
 FOLLOWING AREAS: 1.AISLES. 2. CORRIDORS. & 3.EXITS.
  
 1C) UNDER THE HEADING OF OCCUPANT LOAD THE KITCHEN
 OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR IS TAKEN AT 100 GROSS, PLEASE
 REVIEW THE 2017 FBC-B TABLE 1004.1.2 COMMERCIAL KITCHEN
 OCCUPANT LOAD FACTOR IS TAKEN AT 200 GROSS OR 1711 S.
 F. /200 = 9 OCCUPANTS NOT 18.
  
 1D) THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET SHOWS A BAR WITH 10 SEATS AND
 AN ACCESSIBLE LOCATION FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS WHICH IS
 NOT PART OF THE MAIN BAR AND AWAY BACK IN THE CORNER.
 THIS LOCATION IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED EQUIVALENT
 FACILITATION. THE WHEELCHAIR USER IS NOT TO FEEL
 SLIGHTED, THE LOCATION IS IN A SERVICE AISLE, NOR CAN A
 GUEST OF THE WHEELCHAIR BOUND PERSON BE WITH THEM. 2017
 FBC-ACC. SECTION 103 & 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING
 SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902
 SHALL BE DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY
 CONTAINING DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES.
  
 1E) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN DOES HAVE ENOUGH ACCESSIBLE
 SEATING LOCATIONS, BUT THE LOCATIONS ARE TO BE
 DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE RESTAURANT, THERE ARE NO
 ACCESSIBLE SEATING LOCATIONS ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE
 BUILDING FOR SEASONAL SEATING. 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE SECTION 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES REQUIRED
 TO COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE
 SPACE OR FACILITY CONTAINING DINING SURFACES.
  
 1F) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN SHOWS WHAT APPEARS TO BE 4
 ROUND COLUMNS, SHEET 1.5A HAS TO ELEVATIONS OF THESE
 PROPOSED COLUMNS/ PILING/ POST. IN THE DETAILS 2 & 4 OF
 THIS PAGE THEY ARE LABELED POST AND PILING, PENETRATE
 THE FLOOR BY 2 FEET. IF THESE 4 PILING ARE TO SUPPORT
 SOMETHING PLEASE EXPLAIN THEIR USAGE AND HOW THEY ARE
 TO BE INSTALLED AND OF WHAT MATERIAL THEY ARE TO BE
 MADE FROM. PLEASE ALSO USE THE SAME NOMENCLATURE FOR
 DETAILS. IT WOULD APPEAR THE PILING ARE TO SUPPORT THE
 BAR JOIST SINCE THEY ARE BEING WELDED TO THE BAR JOIST,
 PLEASE EXPLAIN? 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS

 SYSTEM BE ATTACHED TO THE BAR JOIST, TOP OR BOTTOM BAR
 OF THE BAR JOIST? 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS

 2B) THE PLAN INDICATES THE T & G WILL BE FIRE RETARDANT
 TREATED WOOD, WILL THERE BE COMBUSTIBLE FRAMING BEHIND
 THE T & G PLANKS? PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE

 803.13.2 SET-OUT CONSTRUCTION. WHERE WALLS AND CEILINGS

 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 803.1.1 OR 803.1.2, SHALL BE
 USED.

 5= 24 OCCUPANTS. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 FBC-B. WHERE PERSONS ARE ADMITTED TO THE BUILDING AT
 TIMES WHEN SEATS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, SUCH PERSONS SHALL
 BE ALLOWED TO WAIT IN A LOBBY OR SIMILAR SPACE,
 PROVIDED SUCH LOBBY OR SIMILAR SPACE SHALL NOT ENCROACH
 UPON THE MINIMUM WIDTH OR REQUIRED CAPACITY OF THE
 MEANS OF EGRESS. SUCH FOYER, IF NOT DIRECTLY CONNECTED
 TO A PUBLIC STREET BY ALL THE MAIN ENTRANCES OR EXITS,
 SHALL HAVE A STRAIGHT AND UNOBSTRUCTED CORRIDOR OR PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO EVERY SUCH MAIN ENTRANCE OR EXIT. FBC-B

 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
