 JOBSITE IS LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH
 JURISDICTION, NOT PALM BEACH COUNTY, PLEASE UPDATE
 PLANS.
  
 1B) THE TYPICAL SIDE ELEVATION SHOWS THE TYPICAL
 RAFTER, NOT CLEAR IF THIS DIMENSIONAL LUMBER 4X4 OR 4
 INCH ROUND TIMBERS? THE 2ND ISSUE IS THE PLANS DO NOT
 INDICATE AT WHAT THE DIMENSION IS CENTER TO CENTER? THE
 3RD QUESTION IS THE ANCHORING OF THE TYPICAL RAFTER TO
 THE RIDGE OR THE PERIMETER HEADER?
  
 1C) THE FRONT CUT SECTION DOES NOT MAKE CLEAR IF THE 6
 INCH ROUND FRAME SUPPORT IS TO BE THE ONLY SUPPORT. THE
 PLAN SPECIFICALLY STATES THIS SUPPORT IS FOR A CEILING
 FAN. THE CUT SECTION DOES NOT SHOW ANY RAFTER TIES/
 WIND TIES/ COLLAR TIES. THE FRONT/ SECTION DOES NOT
 SHOW THE USE OF CEILING JOIST TO HOLD THE EXTERIOR
 WALLS FROM BOWING OUT. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 2017 FBC-B SECTION:
  
 2017 FBC-B 2308.7.3.1 CEILING JOIST AND RAFTER
 CONNECTIONS. WHERE CEILING JOISTS ARE NOT PARALLEL TO
 RAFTERS, AN EQUIVALENT RAFTER TIE SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
 A MANNER TO PROVIDE A CONTINUOUS TIE ACROSS THE
 BUILDING, AT A SPACING OF NOT MORE THAN 4 FEET (1219
 MM) ON CENTER. THE CONNECTIONS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH TABLES 2308.7.3.1 AND 2304.10.1, OR CONNECTIONS OF
 EQUIVALENT CAPACITIES SHALL BE PROVIDED. RAFTER TIES
 SHALL BE SPACED NOT MORE THAN 4 FEET ON CENTER. RAFTER
 TIE CONNECTIONS SHALL BE BASED ON THE EQUIVALENT RAFTER
 SPACING IN TABLE 2308.7.3.1.
  
 2) PLEASE NOTE THE SUBMITTED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 FOR EITHERTHE ALOHA OR BORA BORA SYNTHETIC LEAF ROOF
 SYSTEM. THE SUBMITTED BROCHURE STATES THE FRAMING
 MEMBERS THAT THIS SYNTHETIC LEAF ROOF SYSTEM IS TO
 ATTACHED IS A MAXIMUM SPACING OF 19 5/8 INCH/ 50 CM.
 PLEASE PROVIDE IF THE RAFTER SPACING LISTED ABOVE IN
 COMMENT 1B WILL MEET THIS REQUIREMENT, OR WILL THERE BE
 A NEED FOR PERLINS? THE OTHER ISSUE THE SPACING FOR
 ROWS AFTER THE 1ST ROW IS TO BE 4 3/8 INCH FOR THIS
 SYNTHETIC LEAF ROOF SYSTEM, PLEASE ADD THE SPACING
 INFORMATION OF THE ROWS ON THE PLANS IN CASE THE
 INSTALLATION SPECS DO NOT MAKE IT TO THE JOB. 107.2.1.2
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
