 CODE: FBC 6TH EDITION (2017) AND CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE.
  
 1- REVISE EQUIPMENT LOAD CALCULATIONS. LOAD
 CALCULATIONS ARE DONE BASED ON THE FRONT DOOR FACING
 NORTH. THIS IS INCORRECT. FRONT DOOR IS FACING SOUTH.
 LOAD CALCULATIONS NEED TO BE DONE BASED ON THE ACTUAL
 ORIENTATION OF THE BUILDING AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 801.3
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING AND SEC. R403.7.1 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
  
 2- A/C PLAN DOESN'T SHOW ANY TRANSFER DUCT-OR TRANSFER
 GRILL ON THE BEDROOM SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 BALANCED RETURN AIR SEC. M1602.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION. SPECIFY THE TRANSFER DUCT
 OR TRANSFER GRILL SIZE.
  
 3- THIS BUILDING IS BUILT IN A AE FLOOD ZONE WITH THE
 BASE FLOOD ELEVATION OF 12.1 FEET BASED ON NAVD 1988.
 THE PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK IS CONSIDERED SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT.
 CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ORDINANCE REQUIRES A TWO (2)
 FOOT FREE BOARD ABOVE THE BASE FLOOD ELEVATION (SEC.
 18-284 CITY ORDINANCE NO. 4729-17). CLEARLY SPECIFY ON
 PLANS THE FINISHED ELEVATION OF THE A/C EQUIPMENT USING
 THE NAVD 1988 REFERENCE. NOTE: THE FINISHED FLOOR
 ELEVATION NEEDS TO BE AT 14.1 FEET NAVD 1988 OR HIGHER.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
