 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. 801.3 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A0.02 THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN FOR OFFICE # 540
 THE TRAVEL DISTANCE (EXIT ACCESS TRAVEL DISTANCE TABLE
 1017.2 OF THE 2017 FBC-B) IS GIVEN BUT NOT THE COMMON
 PATH OF TRAVEL (TABLE 1006.2.1 OF THE 2017
 FBC-B). THE CODE ANALYSIS FOR THIS UNIT LIST 95 FEET,
 WHEN MEASURED ALONG THE EXIT TRAVEL DISTANCE IT WOULD
 APPEAR CLOSER TO EXACTLY 100 FT. WITH CALIBRATING THE
 PLAN.
  
 2) SHEET A0.02 SHOWS ALL OF THE TENANT SEPARATION WALLS
 AND CORRIDOR WALLS AS ONE HOUR FIRE RATED WALLS.
 SHEET A1.11 FLOOR PLAN SHOWS THE ENTRY DOORS FOR THE
 VARIOUS SUITES WITH DOOR IDENTIFICATION TAGS. THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD CAN DESIGN TO A MORE STRINGENT
 REQUIREMENT THAN THE MINIMUM CODE. IN DOING SO YOU
 WOULD ALSO BE REQUIRED TO HAVE ALL OF THE ENTRY DOORS
 INTO EACH TENANT SPACE RATED SEE THE 2017 FBC-B TABLE
 716.5. IN THE DOOR SCHEDULE FOUND ON SHEET A0.15 NONE
 OF THE ENTRY DOORS SHOW A RATING.
  
 3A) IN THE CORRIDOR IT APPEARS THERE IS ONLY A SINGLE
 WATER FOUNTAIN. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 211.2 MINIMUM NUMBER. NO
 FEWER THAN TWO DRINKING FOUNTAINS SHALL BE PROVIDED.
 ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY WITH 602.1 THROUGH
 602.6 AND ONE DRINKING FOUNTAIN SHALL COMPLY WITH
 602.7.
 EXCEPTION: WHERE A SINGLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN COMPLIES
 WITH 602.1 THROUGH 602.6 AND 602.7, IT SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO BE SUBSTITUTED FOR TWO SEPARATE DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS.
  
 3B) THE PROJECT VALUE OF THE PROJECT IS INDICATED TO BE
 $1,375,800.00 IN VALUE. THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE STATES
 THAT UP TO 20% OF THE PROJECT CAN BE ASSESSED FOR
 ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES, THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE WATER
 FOUNTAINS. PLEASE REVIEW THE ORDER IN WHICH THE FUNDS
 ARE TO BE SPENT.
  
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER EITHER
 FROM THE CONTRACTOR OR DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR
 LETTERHEAD WHERE UP TO 20 % OF THE CONTRACT VALUE IS
 GOING TO BE SPENT IN ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES TO THE
 PROJECT. IF ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS ARE COMPLETED
 (COMPLIED) BEFORE DISPROPORTIONATION COST IS MET A
 LETTER IS NOT REQUIRED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE:
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN
 ACCESSIBLE PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA WILL BE
 DEEMED DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE OVERALL ALTERATION WHEN
 THE COST EXCEEDS 20% OF THE COST OF THE ALTERATION TO
 THE PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA. COSTS THAT MAY BE COUNTED AS
 EXPENDITURES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF
 TRAVEL MAY INCLUDE: (I) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING
 AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AN ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE
 ALTERED AREA; (II) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING
 RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE, SUCH AS INSTALLING GRAB BARS,
 ENLARGING TOILET STALLS, INSULATING PIPES, OR
 INSTALLING ACCESSIBLE FAUCET CONTROLS; (III) COSTS
 ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES, SUCH
 AS RELOCATING THE TELEPHONE TO AN ACCESSIBLE HEIGHT,
 INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT
 TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING
 AN INACCESSIBLE DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
  
 4) SHEET M5.1 IS MISSING FIRE RATED WALLS BETWEEN
 TENANT SPACES. THE ARCHITECT OF RECORD HAS REQUIRED A
 MORE STRINGENT RATING ON THE TENANT SEPARATION WALLS
 AND CORRIDOR WALLS, A 1 HOUR FIRE RATING SEE THE
 ARCHITECTURAL LIFE SAFETY PLAN. FIRE DAMPERS ARE
 MISSING IN ALL OF THESE WALLS. SEE SECTION 717.5 WHERE
 REQUIRED OF THE 2017 FBC-B.
  
 5) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
