 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) THE ORIGINAL PERMIT WAS ISSUED WITH THE BUILDING
 TYPE II-B WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THERE WERE NO
 COMBUSTIBLES IN THE EXTERIOR WALLS AND ROOF FRAMING AND
 DECK. THE PLANS/ REVISION SHOWS THE BUILDING TYPE AS
 TYPE III-B CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE PROVIDE THE 2 HOUR
 PROTECTION FOR THE EXTERIOR BEARING WALLS, AND THE ROOF
 FRAMING MEMBERS AND SECONDARY MEMBERS A 1 HOUR FIRE
 PROTECTION. THIS BUILDING QUALIFIES AS A MINIMUM TYPE
 V-B FOR BOTH BUSINESS AND S-2 OCCUPANCIES, NO FIRE
 RATING IS REQUIRED. IF THE DESIGNER OF RECORD WANTS TO
 DESIGN TO A MORE RESTRICTIVE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TYPE
 THEY MAY BUT SHOW COMPLIANCE FOR A III-B BUILDING. 2014

 1B) SHEET A-1 SHOWS AN ACCESSIBLE PARALLEL PARKING
 SPACE AND ACCESS AISLE, DETAILS FOUND ON SHEET A-6. THE
 DETAILS AS SHOWN ON SHEET A-6 DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME
 CONFIGURATION AS THE COVERSHEET. PLEASE PROVIDE THE
 SAME CONFIGURATION AS THE COVERSHEET IS THAT IS GOING
 TO BE APPLIED AT THE JOBSITE. INCLUDE THE ACCESS AISLE
 CONFIGURATION ALL THE WAY TO THE BUILDING. IS THERE A
 SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING, IF SO SHOW THE
 DROPPED ENTRY POINT OF THE SIDEWALK AND THE LOCATION OF
 BOTH TENANTS, THE DRY CLEANERS AS WELL AS THE NEW
 BUSINESS OFFICE. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH MARKING OF
 THE ACCESS AISLE AND ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACE WITH THE
 CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH MUNI CODE. CITY ACCESSIBLE
 PARKING STANDARD. AN ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACE AND
 ACCESS AISLE, PLEASE SEE THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE 502.3.3 MARKING. ACCESS AISLES SHALL BE MARKED SO
 AS TO DISCOURAGE PARKING IN THEM. THE ACCESS AISLE MUST
 BE STRIPED DIAGONALLY TO DESIGNATE IT AS A NO-PARKING

 TO BE AS WIDE AS A PARKING SPACE, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT
 THE AISLE BE CLEARLY MARKED. FLORIDA
 LAW, S.553.5041(5)(C)1., REQUIRES DIAGONAL STRIPING OF
 ACCESS AISLES.
 THE CITY OF W. P. B. MUNI CODE ARTICLE XV 94-485
 PARKING PROVIDES A DOUBLE LINED DIMENSIONED PARKING
 STALL DETAIL.
  
 2) SHEET A3:
 2A) SHEET A3 THE RESTROOMS BACK WALL MEASURES 7 FEET 1
 INCH WHEREAS THE DETAIL OF THE RESTROOM ON A-6 SHOWS
 THE BACK WALL MEASUREMENT OF 7 FEET 6 INCHES, A
 DISCREPANCY IN PLANS. 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 WILL BE REQUIRED.
  
 2B) THE FLOOR PLAN SHOWS A INFILL WALL TYPE WT2 IS A
 ONE HOUR FIRE WALL WITH A 90 MINUTE DOOR. PLEASE REVIEW
 IN THE 2014 FBC-B TABLE 508.4 AND BETWEEN A S2 AND B
 OCCUPANCY A 2 HOUR FIRE RATING FOR A NON-SPRINKLERED,
 PLEASE UPDATE PLANS FOR A 2 HOUR FIRE RATED ASSEMBLY.
  
 2C) THE FLOOR PLAN INDICATES THE REMOVAL OF 4 WOODEN
 POST, THERE IS NO EXPLANATION IF THESE POST ARE PART OF
 THE ROOF FRAMING SYSTEM, HAND FRAMED ROOF WITH ROOF
 RAFTERS AND CEILING JOIST AND A CARRYING WOOD BEAM
 ABOVE THE CEILING? 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 2D) THERE IS A NOTE ON THE PLANS INDICATING THE ROOF
 RAFTERS ARE RE-ENFORCED WITH NEW BEAM SUPPORTS SEE
 STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS PG-2. THERE ARE NO SUCH DRAWINGS
 INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE. THERE ARE 2 STRUCTURAL SHEETS

 BUT NOT FOR ROOF ZONES 1, 2, AND 3. WITH THE NEW FLAT
 ROOF AND ROOF OVERHANG PLEASE PROVIDE THE WIND DESIGN
 CRITERIA AND ASSOCIATED PRESSURES FOR THE ROOF ZONES 1,
 2, AND 3 AS WELL AS THE OVERHANG. 2014 FBC-B 1603.1.4

 2H) THE EXISTING STORAGE UNIT ON THE FRONT OF THE
 BUILDING INDICATES A NEW OPENING IN THE BLOCK WALL
 REMOVAL OF BLOCK AND NEW VERTICAL STEEL 1 # 5 ON EACH
 SIDE OF THE NEW OPENING BUT THE PLANS ARE SILENT AS TO
 HOW FAR THE REBAR HAS TO BE EMBEDDED INTO THE FOOTING
 BELOW AND THE BEAM ABOVE TO BE CONSIDERED PART OF THE
 MWFRS, (MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING SYSTEM).

 TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. FOR ALL PRODUCTS WITH
 GLAZING, PLEASE IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT,
 TYPE OF GLAZING, MULLION SIZE, LENGTH IF UNREINFORCED
 OR REINFORCED INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS AND
 ASSOCIATE PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2017 FBC-B

 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL FOR
 JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL. FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE
 ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING
 ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS, SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 DELEGATED ENGINEERING. 61G15-30.003 ENGINEERING
 DOCUMENT CLASSIFICATION. FL 61G-15-30.006 (3) THE
 DELEGATED ENGINEER SHALL FORWARD THE DELEGATED
 ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS TO THE ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR
 REVIEW.
  
 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS
 SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING

 BOTH INSULATION & THE BASE SHEET AS CALCULATED IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH ROOFING APPLICATION STANDARDS RAS 117.

 SEALED BY A FLORIDA REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER OR

 2M) THE ROOF TOP A/C STAND A PRODUCT APPROVAL EITHER A
 MIAMI-DADE NOA OR STATE APPROVAL TO BE REVIEWED BY THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD. PLEASE IDENTIFY THE FOLLOWING
 REQUIREMENTS CALCULATING THE AREA (SIDE VIEW) OF THE
 ROOF TOP COMPRESSORS, CONFIGURATION ON STAND, THE MEAN
 ROOF HEIGHT OF THE STAND AND COMPRESSORS, WEIGHT,
 CIRCLED THE DESIGN PARAMETERS IN THE TABLES, ANCHORS
 AND UPLIFT VERSES MOMENT FOR THE UNIT TO THE STAND AND
 THE STAND TO THE ROOF. THE PRODUCT APPROVAL IS TO BE

 AND COUNTERTOP. THE SUBMITTED REVISION DOES NOT SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS:
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 606.2 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. A
 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305, POSITIONED FOR A
 FORWARD APPROACH, AND KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE COMPLYING
 WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
 EXCEPTIONS:
 1.A PARALLEL APPROACH COMPLYING WITH 305 SHALL BE
 PERMITTED TO A KITCHEN SINK, IN A SPACE WHERE A COOK

 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 606.4 FAUCETS. CONTROLS FOR
 FAUCETS SHALL COMPLY WITH 309. HAND-OPERATED METERING
 FAUCETS SHALL REMAIN OPEN FOR 10 SECONDS MINIMUM.
  
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 606.5 EXPOSED PIPES AND
 SURFACES. WATER SUPPLY AND DRAIN PIPES UNDER LAVATORIES
 AND SINKS SHALL BE INSULATED OR OTHERWISE CONFIGURED TO
 PROTECT AGAINST CONTACT. THERE SHALL BE NO SHARP OR
 ABRASIVE SURFACES UNDER LAVATORIES AND SINKS.
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE WORK SURFACES. 902.3
 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES
 MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GROUND.
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY AND STAPLE INTO 2 COMPLETE SETS OF PLANS, NO
 LOOSE PLANS. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED

 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
