 DATA AND GENERAL NOTES SHEET BUT IS THE SHEET INDEX,
 PLEASE CORRECT THE DISCREPANCY IN PLANS. W 2017 WEST
 PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATIVE CODE.
  
 2) SHEET LS-1.1LIFE SAFETY PLAN- RESTAURANT:
 2A) UNDER THE HEADINGS OF APPLICABLE CODES, AND
 CLASSIFICATION OF WORK BOTH HEADINGS INDICATE CODE
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION
 504- ALTERATIONS LEVEL 2. PLEASE REFER TO THE 2017
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 101.4.1. BUILDINGS
 NOT PREVIOUSLY OCCUPIED (SHELL BUILDINGS).
 A BUILDING OR PORTION OF A BUILDING THAT HAS NOT BEEN
 PREVIOUSLY OCCUPIED OR USED FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS IN EXISTENCE AT THE TIME OF
 ITS COMPLETION SHALL BE PERMITTED TO COMPLY WITH THE
 PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS IN EXISTENCE AT THE TIME OF ITS
 ORIGINAL PERMIT UNLESS SUCH PERMIT HAS EXPIRED.
 SUBSEQUENT PERMITS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION.
 PLEASE CORRECT CODE COMPLIANCE STATEMENTS.
  
 2B) PLEASE REVIEW THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOADS BETWEEN THE
 EGRESS CALCULATIONS AND THE PLUMBING FIXTURE
 REQUIREMENTS. IT WOULD APPEAR THE 268 OCCUPANTS UNDER
 EGRESS HAS BEEN FLIPPED TO 286 OCCUPANTS UNDER THE
 PLUMBING FIXTURE REQUIREMENTS. 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 2C) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN DOES NOT SHOW A CUMULATIVE
 OCCUPANT LOAD AS THEY PROCEED OUT OF THE BUILDING AND
 EITHER DOWN THE STAIRS AND OR RAMP TO THE PUBLIC WAY.
  
 2C)(1)2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 207.1 MEANS
 OF EGRESS SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 1003.2.13 OF THE
 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE (2000 EDITION AND 2001
 SUPPLEMENT) OR SECTION 1007 OF THE INTERNATIONAL
 BUILDING CODE (2003 EDITION).
 2003 IBC-B 1007.1 WHERE MORE THAN ONE MEANS OF EGRESS
 IS REQUIRED BY SECTIONS 1014.1 OR 1018.1 FROM ANY
 ACCESSIBLE SPACE, EACH ACCESSIBLE PORTION OF THE SPACE
 SHALL BE SERVED BY NOT LESS THAN TWO MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 2C)(2)THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN FAILS TO SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE 2017 FBC-B SECTION 1028.5 ACCESS TO A PUBLIC
 WAY.
  
 2D) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN INDICATES AS WELL AS A-1.1.1
 EXTERIOR DOOR 110B AS A 36 INCH OPENING, THE PLANS DO
 NOT INDICATE THAT THE DOOR IS EXISTING OR NOT AND THE
 DOOR IS NOT ON THE DOOR SCHEDULE FOUND ON SHEET
 A-7.1.1. THIS DOOR IS DESIGNATED AS AN EXIT DOOR
 REQUIRING PANIC OR FIRE EXIT HARDWARE IN COMPLIANCE
 WITH 2017 FBC-B SECTION 1010.10. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 IS REQUIRED. 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 2E) SHEET A-1.1.1 INDICATES DOOR IN QUESTION AS 101C,
 THE DOOR SCHEDULE INDICATES THIS DOOR AS A 3 FOOT WIDE
 DOOR. THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET INDICATES THIS DOOR AS AN
 EGRESS DOOR AND STATES ON THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN AS A 32
 INCH OPENING. SCALING THE DOOR ON SHEET A-1.1.2 THE
 DOOR IS OVERALL 33 INCHES. THIS DOOR DOES NOT SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH 1010.1.1 FOR EGRESS DOORS. A 32 INCH
 CLEAR OPENING IS REQUIRED, MEASURED FROM THE FACE OF
 THE DOOR PERPENDICULAR TO THE OPPOSING DOOR STOP AT A
 90 DEGREE ANGLE.
  
 2F) SHEET A-1.1.2 THE 1ST FLOOR DIMENSION PLAN WITH THE
 DOOR 101C IN QUESTION AS TO THE SIZE, DRAWN CURRENTLY
 AS 32 TO 33 INCHES JAMB TO JAMB. PLEASE ALSO PROVIDE
 THE MEASUREMENT FROM THE SWING EDGE OF THE BAR TO THE
 ADJACENT BAR AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION ACCESS. CODE 404.2.4
 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES. DOORS. MINIMUM MANEUVERING
 CLEARANCES AT DOORS AND GATES SHALL COMPLY WITH
 404.2.4. MANEUVERING CLEARANCES SHALL EXTEND THE FULL
 WIDTH OF THE DOORWAY AND THE REQUIRED LATCH SIDE FOR

 2G)(4) 902.1 .DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3. ADVISORY 902.1 GENERAL.
 DINING SURFACES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, BARS,
 TABLES, LUNCH COUNTERS, AND BOOTHS.
  
 2G)(5) 902.2 CLEAR FLOOR OR GROUND SPACE. A CLEAR FLOOR
 SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A FORWARD
 APPROACH SHALL BE PROVIDED. KNEE AND TOE CLEARANCE
 COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 2G)(6) 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING SURFACES AND
 WORK SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 2H) THE LIFE SAFETY SHEET DOES NOT SHOW ANY BARS AS
 ACCESSIBLE. SHEET A-1.1.1 DOES HAVE A NOTE OF AN
 ACCESSIBLE BAR AREA, TO SEE DETAIL 3/ A9.3.1. THIS
 DETAIL DOES SHOW AN AREA OF DROPPED SECTION OF THE BAR
 FOR AN ACCESSIBLE ELEMENT OF THE BAR WITH THE USE OF A
 COUNTERBALANCE CORP. SERV-A-SYSTEM. PLEASE SHOW

 THE CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE WELD PROCEDURE
 SPECIFICATIONS & WELDER OPERATOR PERFORMANCE
 QUALIFICATION RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REFERENCED
 STANDARDS AT TIME OF INSPECTION. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY.
