 ASBESTOS PROGRAM COORDINATOR, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
 HEALTH PALM BEACH COUNTY WILL BE FOLLOWED AND THAT
 NOTIFICATION WILL BE GIVEN TIMELY. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION REGARDING ASBESTOS REQUIREMENTS CAN BE

 GRAB RAILS BEING MEASURED 36 INCHES FROM THE CENTERLINE
 OF THE GRAB BAR ABOVE THE FLOOR LEVEL. PLEASE NOTE IN
 THE 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 609.4 POSITION
 OF GRAB BARS. GRAB BARS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN A
 HORIZONTAL POSITION, 33 INCHES MINIMUM AND 36 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR MEASURED TO THE TOP OF
 THE GRIPPING SURFACE, NOT CENTERLINE.

 IS DIMENSIONED (BACKWALL) 1 FOOT 6 INCHES AWAY FROM THE
 NEAREST CORNER WHEREAS IN THE DETAIL 8 THE WATER CLOSET
 IS DIMENSIONED AT 1 FOOT 5 INCHES, A DISCREPANCY OF 1
 INCH. THE CODE DOES ALLOW THE ACCESSIBLE WATER CLOSET
 TO BE BETWEEN 16-18 INCHES AWAY FROM THE CORNER WALL
 (2017 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 604.2 LOCATION).
 PLEASE CORRECT THE DISCREPANCY IN THE PLANS. 107.2.1.2
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED, DISCREPANCY.
  
 2D) DETAIL A BREAK ROOM CABINETRY. THE FLOOR PLAN DOES
 NOT SHOW WHICH APPROACH WILL BE USED TO GAIN ENTRY TO
 THE BREAK ROOM SINK. THE LOCATION OF THE REQUIRED
 ACCESSIBLE SINK GIVEN ON THIS PLAN APPEARS TO
 CENTERLINE 18 INCHES FROM THE CORNER WALL. SHEET
 A4.1.1. DETAIL 9 A SECTION OF THE SAME CABINETRY SHOWS
 A TOE KICK AND BOTTOM IN THE CABINETRY AND THE PIPES
 NOT COVERED WITH INSULATION. IT APPEARS AS DRAWN
 NEITHER A SIDE APPROACH NOR FRONT APPROACH WILL WORK.
 PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017
 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTIONS:
  
 602.2 CLEAR FLOOR SPACE. UNITS SHALL HAVE A CLEAR FLOOR
 OR GROUND SPACE COMPLYING WITH 305 POSITIONED FOR A
 FORWARD APPROACH AND CENTERED ON THE UNIT. KNEE AND TOE
 CLEARANCE COMPLYING WITH 306 SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 606.5 EXPOSED PIPES AND
 SURFACES. WATER SUPPLY AND DRAIN PIPES UNDER LAVATORIES
 AND SINKS SHALL BE INSULATED OR OTHERWISE CONFIGURED TO
 PROTECT AGAINST CONTACT. THERE SHALL BE NO SHARP OR
 ABRASIVE SURFACES UNDER LAVATORIES AND SINKS.
