 NOTE: SEC. 801.3 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING. ALL NEW
 CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 1- USE OF THIS BUILDING IS NOT CLEAR. PLANS SHOW THE
 LAYOUT OF A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE BUT ALL THE
 INFORMATION SHOWN UNDER THE AREA CALCULATIONS IS FOR
 BUSINESS TYPE USE. CLARIFY/REVISE AS REQUIRED. CLEARLY
 DEFINE THE USE OF THE BUILDING. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS AND SEC. 301.1 FBC-BUILDING.
  
 RESPONSE:
 A) PLANS SUBMITTED NOW ARE INCOMPLETE. ONLY ONE SHEET
 OF ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING A-000 WAS SUBMITTED AND
 REVISED SHEET A-100 WAS NOT SUBMITTED. NEED TO PROVIDE
 TWO COMPLETE SETS. SEC. 107.1 AND 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) THE BUILDING DATA ON SHEET A-000 STATES THAT THIS
 BUILDING IS CONSTRUCTION TYPE II-B. TYPICALLY SINGLE
 FAMILY RESIDENCES ARE CONSTRUCTION TYPE VB. PROVIDE
 PROOF THAT THIS A TYPE II-B BUILDING WITH
 NON-COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 602.2
 FBC-BUILDING OR REVISE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 2- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 811.1 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE FORMS ARE PROPERLY SIGNED BY ALL
 REQUIRED PARTIES AND IS COORDINATED WITH PLANS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 A) ENERGY CALCULATIONS FORM IS REQUIRED TO BE CERTIFIED
 AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FORM BY THE OWNER, THE OWNER'S
 ARCHITECT OR OTHER AUTHORIZED AGENT LEGALLY DESIGNED BY
 THE OWNER PRIOR TO RECEIVE THE PERMIT AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R103.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 6TH EDITION
 (2017).
  
 B) PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING OWNER'S NAME. SEC. R101.5.1.1.2 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3-CLEARLY SPECIFY TYPE AND SIZE OF EXISTING BEDROOM
 WINDOWS AND TYPE AND SIZE OF PROPOSED WINDOWS TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 702.5
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING.
 NOTE: NEED TO VERIFY MANUFACTURER'S LARGEST STANDARD
 SIZE WINDOW THAT WILL FIT WITHIN THE EXISTING FRAME OR
 EXISTING ROUGH OPENING AND THAT WILL NOT REDUCE THE
 EGRESS SIZE OPENING OF EXISTING WINDOW AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 702.5.
  
 RESPONSE:
 REPEAT COMMENT. NOTE: COORDINATE WITH ITEM #1 ABOVE.
 INCOMPLETE PLANS SUBMITTED.

 4-DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 RESPONSE:
 UNABLE TO VERIFY IF PRODUCT APPROVALS WERE REVIEWED BY
 THE DESIGNER OF RECORD. ALSO, THERE ARE NEW PRODUCT
 APPROVALS SUBMITTED. PROVIDE TWO SETS OF EACH PRODUCT
 APPROVAL REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE
 ARCHITECT OF RECORD.
  
  
 WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION &
 REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 PLEASE, INSERT CORRECTED PAGES INTO THE SUBMITTAL AND
 REMOVE/VOID THE PREVIOUSLY REVIEWED SHEETS. PLEASE
