 1. PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION THAT EXISTING SIDING HAS
 DETERIORATED TO THE POINT OF NEEDING COMPLETE
 REPLACEMENT. STAFF RECOMMENDS FIXING AND REPAIRING
 SECTIONS AS REQUIRED. IN YOUR DOCUMENTATION PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE MATERIAL OF THE SIDING. IF MORE THAN 40% OF
 THE SIDING NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, A CERTIFICATE OF
 APPROPRIATENESS APPLICATION IS REQUIRED.
 2. VINYL SIDING IS A PROHIBITED MATERIAL IN A HISTORIC
 DISTRICT. REVISE MATERIAL TO BE EITHER CYPRESS OR CEDAR
 WOOD SIDING. PROVIDE PROFILE AND MATERIAL OF EXISTING
 SIDING AND PROPOSED SIDING.
  
 IF THE PROPERTY OWNER WOULD LIKE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH
 VINYL SIDING A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS
 APPLICATION WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED AND REVIEWED BY
 THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD.
  
 A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS (COA) APPLICATION CAN
 BE FOUND UNDER APPLICATION & RESOURCES UNDER
 DEVELOPMENT SERVICES / PLANNING & ZONING. HTTPS://WPB.O
