 SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) WHEN CHECKING THE STATUS OF THE CONTRACTORS LISTED
 FOR THIS PROJECT THE (EC) CONTRACTOR POWER ENTERPRISE
 CORP, QUALIFIER LAZARO FERNANDEZ, THE LICENSE IS NULL &
 VOID.
  
 2) THE COVERSHEET C1.0:
  
 2A) DETAILS A & B BOTH SHOW A NEW ACCESSIBLE RAMP WITH
 A NEW 6 INCH STEP. A RAMP MUST BE USED, NOT A 6 INCH
 STEP. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2017 FBC:
 1003.5 ELEVATION CHANGE. WHERE CHANGES IN ELEVATION OF
 LESS THAN 12 INCHES EXIST IN THE MEANS OF EGRESS,
 SLOPED SURFACES SHALL BE USED. WHERE THE SLOPE IS
 GREATER THAN ONE UNIT VERTICAL IN 20 UNITS HORIZONTAL
 (5-PERCENT SLOPE), RAMPS COMPLYING WITH SECTION 1012
 SHALL BE USED. WHERE THE DIFFERENCE IN ELEVATION IS 6
 INCHES OR LESS, THE RAMP SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH EITHER

 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 303.2 VERTICAL. CHANGES IN
 LEVEL OF 1/4 INCH HIGH MAXIMUM SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE
 VERTICAL. WHERE CHANGES IN LEVEL ARE PERMITTED IN FLOOR
 OR GROUND SURFACES, THEY SHALL COMPLY WITH 303.
  
 303.2 VERTICAL. CHANGES IN LEVEL OF 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM)
 HIGH MAXIMUM SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE VERTICAL.
  
 2B) THE COVERSHEET SHOWS 4 INCH OUTSIDE DIAMETER
 BOLLARDS FOR PROTECTION OF THE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY AND
 RAMPED SECTIONS OF THE WALKWAY. WHAT THE PLAN DOES NOT
 SHOW IS COMPLIANCE FOR HANDRAILS UNDER THE
 ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION:
 1014.3 HANDRAIL GRASPABILITY. REQUIRED HANDRAILS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 1014.3.1 OR SHALL PROVIDE
 EQUIVALENT GRASPABILITY.
  
 1014.3.1 TYPE I. HANDRAILS WITH A CIRCULAR CROSS
 SECTION SHALL HAVE AN OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF NOT LESS THAN
 11/4 INCHES (32 MM) AND NOT GREATER THAN 2 INCHES (51
 MM). WHERE THE HANDRAIL IS NOT CIRCULAR, IT SHALL HAVE
 A PERIMETER DIMENSION OF NOT LESS THAN 4 INCHES (102

 MAXIMUM CROSS-SECTIONAL DIMENSION OF 21/4 INCHES (57
 MM) AND MINIMUM CROSS-SECTIONAL DIMENSION OF 1 INCH (25
 MM). EDGES SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM RADIUS OF 0.01 INCH
 (0.25 MM).
  
 1014.2 HEIGHT. HANDRAIL HEIGHT, MEASURED ABOVE STAIR
 TREAD NOSING, OR FINISH SURFACE OF RAMP SLOPE, SHALL BE
 UNIFORM, NOT LESS THAN 34 INCHES AND NOT MORE THAN 38
 INCHES.
  
 3) SHEET A-1.01:
  
 3A) THE BUILDING CODE ANALYSIS DOES NOT PROVIDE THE
 MINIMUM BUILDING TYPE FOR THIS BUILDING. PLEASE REVIEW
 THE 2017 FBC-B TABLES 504.3, 504.4 & 506.2.
  
 3B)(1) THE BUILDING CODE ANALYSIS DOES NOT PROVIDE THE
 TRAVEL DISTANCE FOR BUILDINGS/ STORIES WITH ONE EXIT OR
 ACCESS TO ONE EXIT. PLEASE REVIEW THE 2017 FBC-B TABLE
 1006.3.2(2). FOR BOTH MERCANTILE AND STORAGE OCCUPANCY
 THE TRAVEL DISTANCE FOR BUILDINGS WITH ONE EXIT IS 75
 FEET. WHEN YOU TAKE THE TRAVEL DISTANCE FROM THE
 FURTHEST POINT IN THE WALK IN COOLER TO THE FRONT DOOR
 THE TRAVEL DISTANCE IS 100 FEET. PLEASE SHOW CODE
 COMPLIANCE WILL BE ACHIEVED.
  
 3B)(2) PLEASE NOTE ON THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN IN THE
 UNISEX RESTROOM THE PLAN SHOWS AN EXTERIOR DOOR TO BE
 BLOCKED UP, THE INFILL IS TO MATCH THE EXISTING
 STOREFRONT. PLEASE NOTE WITHIN THIS SET OF PLANS THERE
 ARE NO DETAILS HOW THE INFILL IS TO OCCUR, AND BOND TO
 THE EXISTING CBS BLOCK WORK. 107.2.1.2 ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 SECTION 2103.4 METAL REINFORCEMENT AND ACCESSORIES OF
 THE 2017 FBC-B, ALSO REVIEW NCMA TEK 12-2B BULLETIN ON
 JOINT REINFORCEMENT FOR CONCRETE MASONRY.
  
 3C) PLEASE PROVIDE THE OVERALL DIAGONAL DISTANCE OF THE
 BUILDING AND ONE-HALF THAT DISTANCE WOULD BE THE
 MINIMUM THE 2 REQUIRED EGRESS DOORS CAN BE APART AS PER
 SECTION 1007.1.1 OF THE 2017 FBC-B.
  
 3D) THE BUILDING CODE ANALYSIS DOES NOT PROVIDE A BREAK
 DOWN BY OCCUPANCY THE OCCUPANT LOAD FOR MERCANTILE AND
 FOR STORAGE OR THE TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD FOR THE

 3E) THE BUILDING CODE ANALYSIS DOES NOT PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED PLUMBING FIXTURE COUNT AS PER THE 2017 FBC-B
 TABLE 2902.1.
  
 3F) WALK IN COOLERS ARE UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT, WITH
 ASSOCIATED FEES AND REVIEWS. 2017 WEST PALM BEACH
 AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE CHAPTER 1OF THE
 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE SECTION 105.1 PERMITS.
  
 3G) THE PROPOSED PLAN DOES NOT INDICATE IF THE ATM
 MACHINE IS NEW OR EXISTING, IS THIS MACHINE GO THROUGH
 THE WALL TO THE EXTERIOR? WILL A NEW OPENING IN THE
 WALL BE REQUIRED? 107.2.1.2. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 3H) THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN DOES INDICATE THE SERVICE/
 CASHIERS COUNTER IS EXISTING, NO INFORMATION IS GIVEN.
 COMPLIANCE WITH SERVICE COUNTERS CANNOT BE ESTABLISHED
 AT THIS TIME. SEE THE 2017 ACCESS. CODE:
  
 CHECK WRITING SURFACES. 904.3.3. CHECK WRITING
 SURFACES. WHERE PROVIDED, CHECK WRITING SURFACES SHALL
 COMPLY WITH 902.3.
  
 WORK SURFACES. 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF WORK SURFACES
 SHALL BE 28 INCHES MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES MAXIMUM ABOVE
 THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER EITHER
 FROM THE CONTRACTOR OR DESIGNER OF RECORD ON THEIR
 LETTERHEAD WHERE UP TO 20 % OF THE CONTRACT VALUE IS
 GOING TO BE SPENT IN ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES TO THE
 PROJECT. IF ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS ARE COMPLETED
 (COMPLIED) BEFORE DISPROPORTIONATION COST IS MET A
 LETTER IS NOT REQUIRED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE:
 2017 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 202.4.1
 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. ALTERATIONS MADE TO PROVIDE AN

 4) SHEET A-1.03:
  
 4A) PLEASE NOTE THE CGC WILL NEED TO SUB-CONTRACT THE
 ROOFING TO A ROOFING CONTRACTOR. UNDER FLORIDA STATUTE
 489.113 (3)(G) NO GENERAL, BUILDING OR RESIDENTIAL
 CONTRACTOR CERTIFIED AFTER 1973 SHALL ACT AS, HOLD
 HIMSELF OR HERSELF OUT TO BE OR ADVERTISE HIMSELF OR
 HERSELF TO BE A ROOFING CONTRACTOR UNLESS HE OR SHE IS
 CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED AS A ROOFING CONTRACTOR.
  
 4B) THE DETAIL 03 THE PROPOSED ROOFING PLAN DOES
 PROVIDE A MIAMI-DADE NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE (NOA) NUMBER
 15-1008.01 WHICH IS EXPIRED. THERE IS A NEWER NOA FOR A
 REPLACEMENT, NOA: 15-1020.06 WHICH EXPIRES ON
 11/06/2023. THIS NOA IS COMPRISED OF 112 PAGES.
  
 4C) 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF
 THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ARE DEFINED AS THOSE
 PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE NOT SUBMITTED AT THE
 TIME OF THE APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD.
 DEFERRAL OF ANY SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL HAVE THE PRIOR
 APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. THE REGISTERED
 DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONSIBLE CHARGE SHALL LIST
 THE DEFERRED SUBMITTALS ON THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
 FOR REVIEW BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED TO THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL IN
 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND FOUND TO BE IN GENERAL CONFORMANCE TO
 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL
 ITEMS SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL THE DEFERRED
 SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
  
 4D) ROOFING: FOR ALL ROOFING PRODUCTS PLEASE IDENTIFY
 ALL ROOFING SUB-SYSTEMS AND THEIR ASSOCIATED PRESSURES
 FOR ROOF ZONE # 1. REVIEW THE PRODUCT APPROVAL
 LIMITATIONS, IF ENHANCED FASTENING IS ALLOWED FOR ROOF
 ZONES 2 & 3. FASTENER DENSITIES SHALL BE INCREASED FOR
 BOTH INSULATION & THE BASE SHEET AS CALCULATED IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH ROOFING APPLICATION STANDARDS RAS 117.
 CALCULATION PREPARED, SIGNED AND
 SEALED BY A FLORIDA REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER OR
 REGISTERED ARCHITECT. 1609.6.4.4.1 COMPONENTS &
 CLADDING.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
  
 A THOROUGH REVIEW OF THE PLANS COULD NOT HAPPEN SINCE
 THERE WAS A GREAT DEFICIENCY IN PLANS AND REQUIRED
 DOCUMENTATION. WITH THE NEXT PLAN REVIEW CYCLE THERE
 MAYBE ADDITIONAL REVIEW COMMENTS BECAUSE OF NEW PLANS
 AND INFORMATION LACKING UNDER THE PRIOR REVIEW.
